From Dandy:

quote:

Cook (6-0, 181) has long been committed to Florida State but tells SECCountry.com that LSU has been recruiting him very hard and that he’s listening.

quote:

“LSU recently made my top schools because it’s RBU,” Cook told SEC Country.

quote:

Tommie Robinson, LSU’s running backs coach and recruiting coordinator, courted Cook while he was an assistant coach at Southern Cal. That’s why the Trojans made Cook’s top 8 earlier this spring and why the Tigers are suddenly in a very advantageous spot

Can't see him going anywhere other than FSU. Unless he doesn't want comparison with his big brother

I thought he was an FSU lock for sure being Dalvin Cook's little brother, but there maybe a chance.

Depth chart could hurt FSU.

Don't see it happening. But damn we need at least 2 bell cows to get on board, and quick!

Gonna be sitting behind stud RB ,akers , for a while if that is his decision. I used to say the same thing about anyone signing at LSU I hope Ed O can pull a good one because this is the thinnest LSU has been for top RB's ,after this year, in a long time!

Big brother will buy him a nice vehicle with his bonus. At least Florida state will say that.

Might not want to be in big brother's shadow... it isn't like big brother will be there at school with him... If so going outside of Florida might be the way to go...

This and depth chart seem to be what LSU has in favor. They just landed Cam Akers. He will definitely see playing time. There is a much easier path to starting at LSU after Guice leaves.

Hes got 2 Five Stars in front of him with Cam Akers and Khalan Laborn. FSU also brought in the #7 RB Zaquandre White. Thats 3 RBs for the 2017 class.

Cam will play right away and Laborn/White wiill redshirt.

Unless Cook can come in and just wow the coaches hes looking at sitting the bench or getting limited reps until he is at least a redshirt sophomore.

Hopefully we can explain he can come is a true freshman and get snaps and possibly start right away.

In the mix... Sure

Do I think he signs up at LSU? Nope

It's not from lack of effort by the staff however.

“committed but open.”

Is this like. "Sorta pregnant"? Either you are, or you're not.

that's pretty much what I expect. I think we're gonna end up with Harold Joiner as the headliner for our RB class and we'll take another back to pair with him. 2019 is when we hit it big with Noah Cain and John Emery
