Memphis does the problems in the north still stem from the deangelo Benton/Reuben randle faux pas?

If he chooses Bama, I really hope someone reveals what information Memphis got a couple of months ago that made him so confident and what was the critical event that turned the tide in favor of Bama.

Not to speak for any of those guys, but I THINK the answer you will get is that Hootie was telling guys what they want to hear.

Which would explain why both Bama and LSU were confident in landing him at one point.

And the recruit reserves the right to do this to scouts/followers/public without a doubt. I think doing it to any staff is problematic at best.

This is scheduled not last minute. Are you sure or are you just guessing When was it scheduled?

Hmmmm... it is possible that this visit, pre-scheduled, is why Mom had the announcement moved back to the day after the 1st day of the new contact period. Just sayin'

I think people put way too much stock in the "ESPN300". Look at Sione Palalie. He is going to be a monster Scatback/Running Back. Not to mention, I think that ESPN is bias and limited. I have seen recruits get an offer from Alabama and commit, 2 weeks later they are in the top 100.

Have you noticed that LSU rarely Offers players that have offers from Alabama(Specifically from Alabama usually), where as Alabama matches LSU offer to offer.

Look at Landon Collins, he is decent, but not awesome. Its "The Chief" that makes the difference when it comes to DB's. If we played Alabama now, after that win over A&M, I would bet my life we would win with about the same score Alabama beat us with.

I hope like hell Hootie chooses LSU, but we do have alot of great Safeties already. And if we have an in-home visit with him, remember last year we flipped Tashawn Bower on signing day. But who knows, we may already have him in the bag.

So my question to all is, is Bama using the same stragedy as Auburn did a few years back with Trevon Reed? Meaning planting seeds with individuals that steer them there? If so, it is quite effective, maybe LSU needs to plant some of those type seeds in Texas and Florida.

IF Jamal Adams has interest then he and Hootie are pretty comparable rankings wise. Wouldnt upset me at all IF we got Adams. Of course, I dont know what to believe anymore

and how do we really know that 7 days ago Hootie was really coming to LSU? We make fun of some of the pay site guys and James Smith at the TP but none of them ever had Hootie as any sort of lock or even commitment to LSU. We were clinging to what two posters on here said.

Dude reading this board is like reading a tabloid magazine. There may be some truth in it but it is stretched info to state it mildly. I read this site for entertainment only. I wouldn't put a whole lot of trust in what the " Board Insiders " say as fact. This much I have learned on here

1.) they're winning
2.) players at all positions are getting drafted
3.) we fd up letting Sims get away n the other two followed.
With cam it was a total business decision. Miles is supposed to know olines yet he can't get any drafted and they're always making mistakes. It's about winning and making it to the NFL for these kidsnow of days

if robinson and jones are going to bama bc of the decision of a borderline sec WR then that makes zero sense. no way sims can have that much pull on the other 2

Just what I posted in the other thread. CROB was going to Bama with or without Sims. IMHO

Yeah, what kind of message does offering Sims send to guys like Malachi, Speedy and Quinn who

A. Are way better than him and
B. actually camped with LSU when invited

LSU did the right thing on that front. Give the schollys to the guys that earned it.

Momma let Les come over. Why is it over?

Les needs to fix this. LSU stands a good chance of losing Monroe.
