I know it's complete bs but if CR were to choose LSU, he would be my all time favorite regardless of class.

For the sky is falling crowd, here is a list of Bama commits from Louisiana since 2011. The numbers alone aren't staggering, but to pluck three kids from one area in one class (2014) is eye opening. Also, I indicated the number of players from Georgia that committed to Bama in the same class for purposes of butthurt comparison (may be flawed as a concept)

2011
Bradley Sylve
Ga - 1

2012
LC
Denzel Devall
Ga - 8

2013
Raheem Falkins
Tim Williams
Ga - 3

2014
Jones (pending announcement)
Robinson
Sims
Smith
Ga - 3

I am not talking star ratings, just number of kids, which from Louisiana is on an upward line. Again, could be an aberration in 2014 given the "Monroe Effect" this year.

In the end, I want recruits that want to be Tigers. Regardless of their choice, I wish them all well and only get disappointed when a recruit fails to demonstrate class or goes out of their way to trash or hurt LSU.

Geaux Tigers and lets keep it classy.

why would he troll bama like that?

he doesn't seem like the kind that would do that.

What you are reading by some on this Board now can be referred to as the viewpoint from the bunker...pointing at places on a map with a shaky finger and talking about bringing in reinforcements that don't exist.

Hard to do, but going to have to ignore the people that look at recruiting only when there's major news

Kid goes to bama -- anger
Kid goes to lsu-- excitement, but what took him so long

Just remember that there are actually decent posters that can constructively criticize but mostly are just lsu fans... Plain and simple

The rest are a bunch of imitators with a voice(TD) to offer their ignorant and misinformed thoughts

Size (hottie) covering ability (Adams)

We will have an excellent crop of cover corners and safeties.

We need a run stoping hard hitting SS in the worst way.

Problem is, chief might turn him into a Lber anyway. Smh

My sister-in-law is from Monroe, and attended ULL. She has never been an LSU fan, married my brother-in-law who also attended ULL. They now live in Alabama, and both of their kids attended Bama. So, the point I'm making is that I don't think Monroe has ever been all LSU, and has was ripe for the picking by Saban.

What we really need is for Robinson to do what he did to Evans every game. Our defense was awesome because Patrick Peterson, then Claiborne shutdown the other team's best WR. Do that and it'll make the whole defense look better.

I will share a true story:

I was at a Monroe function a few years ago (maybe 3) with many LSU fans...alums, season ticket holders, boosters, legacies, etc. The age was young (early 20s) up to older (60s and 70). These are diehard LSU fans. One guy said a few choice words about Saban...not flaming insults but slight putdowns. He was immediately set upon by many in the crowd. They defended Saban, took up for him, spoke with reverence about him, and wished nothing but the best for him and Bama.

The end result of the episode was they hoped LSU did great but also wished the best for Bama as well.

Take what you want from this story.

Like they said earlier... Monroe is 99% LSU....including all area coaches...this area has one of the largest lsu booster following there is.

She told me herself that a lot of Monroe folks just don't care that much for LSU. They just don't feel connected to that part of the state.

I couldn't disagree more. Growing up, Monroe/ west Monroe was all lsu. I graduated high school in 2003 and I can assure you that everyone was an lsu fan. He'll even in the 90s, north la was sending booger McFarland and tommy banks to LSU while Ed reed and Warrick Dunn were heading off to the Florida schools.

Saying that North La isn't predominantly LSU is crap and a weak excuse for a staff that has clearly clearly gotten complacent and taken it for granted.

Hope to see changes on the LSU coaching staff among assistants, but I believe LSU is capable of finding better coaches than Ed O. or Taylor.

Funny how no one mentions all the other top recruits leaving state for other schools...just ones to bama
