I watched all three of those performances and the order looks right- let’s hope Florida uses up their sticks at regionals! They looked quite good on bars and beam. OU got some gifts on bars and floor but very solid on beam.

I actually think we may have been the only team of those 3 that was underscored rather than overscored. A friend of mine from high school is a diehard UCLA Gymnastics fan and she agreed with me that other than their vault rotation (which was scored accurately), OU was overscored across the other 3 events and same with Florida on every event

The final was a nail biter! Michigan State was hot on LSU's heels. I'm grateful for the win but can see there is work to do on bar and vault landings. Jay was feeling the pressure.

Michigan state may have had the meet of their lives a bit too early - and they of course benefitted from the ever rising beam scores…but I agree if anyone stumbles they are right there. This is the toughest one … so just glad they made it through.

I know it’s petty but I was really hoping Florida wouldn’t go through. Would Selena transfer again? Lol

Despite being the 1 seed we had the most difficult regional

Kentucky and Arkansas were better than all the other teams so far. Until Washington regional.

To add to this; we have the harder semifinal by far too. It should be basically a cakewalk for Florida and OU to make it out of theirs.

Oklahoma just got two 10's back to back on floor ending with a 49.8. The scores are flying for them tonight.

Oklahoma 198.450
Missouri 197.425

Scores don’t reflect actual routines. Lol

None of their tens were actually tens. Also, I believe we’re in the evening session at nationals so if we hit, we have a better chance to walk away with individual national titles in every event including the all around AND out scoring oklahoma regardless of how they do. Yes we have the tougher session but we also don’t have to compete against any other SEC team and are up against Utah who’s high outside of the state of utah is 197.425, UCLA who we’ve already beat once this season and MSU who we just beat. If the girls are on, none of those teams should be in striking distance of us. We just have to hope that the vault and bar landings are worked on between now and nationals

I'm wondering if Jay/Courtney will let Konnor replace Kylie both times or just at nationals.

That would be a good call. I hope it happens. I just noticed that Oklahoma is back as #1 on the Road to National Standings. So, does that mean they will get the night session now??

ETA: I see where we are competing in Session 1 at the Semi Final in Fort Worth. There was an advantage in being in the last Regional Final. The judging and competitors knew what was needed to rise above.

I believe they still use the regular season NQS for nationals semifinals. Either way, we have been confirmed as being in the evening session as I predicted. I think Kylie will be replaced on floor now that Konnor is back, though she may end up in the 2 spot with Sierra first since she’s had more than experience and is more comfortable in the leadoff spot. Also with us starting on bars, it gives Konnor a little bit of a break between each of her routines just like she had at Regional finals

I wonder why the SEC Website posted that LSU was in Semi Final 1 which is usually afternoon. That is confusing if we are confirmed in the night session.

The number one seed heading into the post season (since the new format) ALWAYS gets the evening session for nationals. I wouldn’t trust the SEC website for any information about the NCAA Postseason season because it’s not the official tournament website.
