Im gonna guess post season vault lineup will look like
1. KJ
2. Drayton
3. Lincoln
4. Finnegan
5. Chio
6. Bryant

(5 of 6 are 10.0 vaults)

It seems like Jay has not been confident in Brock's 1.5 vault for a while now. I say that because of her seldom use in vault lineup since 2 years ago and half the time he is only doing the full with her lately when she does compete in competition. Granted I know its meet 1 and maybe they are pacing.

Mine too but 3 of those vaults won’t be here next year so I’d like to see some of the other girls get competition time. Lexie’s vault looks fine in warmups and I wonder if she gets nervous. If so the best thing is competition reps. Lincoln’s vault could be great if she can learn to control that power but right now it’s at least .1 step deduction. Haven’t seen Victorias enough to know how she’s doing with 10.0 sv one but she also has a 9.95 sv one right?

Also Jordan bowers did not have a good meet, although it somehow has her and Aleah tied for 1st in AA on Rd to nationals

I'm pretty sure Road to nationals posted the wrong score for Bowers.

It has been corrected

Anyone know if they considered keeping the double for Lincoln? I assume they are not due to her Achilles, but I think (as someone above said), there is no way she’ll reliably be able to go over 9.8 with it given how much power she has. I didn’t know if anyone else had heard anything about that

I think they are prob just sticking with the 1.5

I’m def willing to let the vault develop, it wasn’t a bad vault imo, the form is good but I’d try to develop that vault right now for the future (this year and years ahead)

I agree - the vault off the table and in the air is good, she just has so much power. It seems unlikely to me that she’ll find a way to reliably control it this year such that it can go above 9.8-9.85 this year, but we shall see.

I think Kaliya can get it together with the vault with some time and reps. Too much power is a better problem to have than too little.

Beard removed from official roster on the website now. Sad that college gym didn't really happen for some reason, but glad that she can say she was on the Natty winning team. Hope she is happy.

Sierra is recognized for an awesome double lay on floor!

It’s really looking like they are finally starting to tighten up on scoring this season. Hope they keep with it!

ETA: except at Florida where those judges missed the memo for the home team. Eyeroll

Florida had a 196.675 tonight. They had three falls on floor but looked good on beam and bars. Alabama had a 197.025. Bama's scoring was more lenient than what I have seen so far.

I was going to say… I don’t think Florida was a particularly tight evaluation…

I just saw them overscore Selena on just about every event. I watched the first rotation of Alabama and it seemed fine. Then I turned on OSU and Texas and didn’t catch anymore.

So; if they had had a normal floor rotation they would have outscored us in week 1 by two tenths. It appears they had better sticks on bars landing (in that they had multiple instead of one-ish), but everything else (especially beam) was looser.

Does anyone know why KJ isn't competing on floor today? Please no injury!

Broadcast said she rolled her ankle yesterday during the training day. No breaks or fractures. Just a sprain. Haleigh is back on beam for us today though. Also, at least we get the chance to throw 6 10.0 SV vaults today with Chase doing the 1.5

And it was glorious! Keep it this way. Red shirt Lincoln, and use only Lexie when Haleigh gets back.

AGREED!!!! As much as I love KJ’s full, I’d rather have Chase or Aleah lead off with a 1.5 (or even Amari) and close with HB
