This was the dismount I've been wanting for Aleah for years, if she can stick it consistently I can see her challenging for a spot in bars lineup

I can see in her bar lineups if the full twisting double tuck is consistent. Bars is looking very solid this year!

Very nice! The girls are looking good. Intrigued to see where Coen's at, hope she can contribute more this year, health-permitting. Also hoping to see Drayton on more events. Her beam dismount looks so easy for her. Chio already looking super polished and second-half of the lineup ready, she will be a star from day 1.

Zeiss was in a boot yesterday. Hopefully, it's just a precaution.

Doesn’t matter. Jenny will find a way to waste her talent away like everyone else on the team and she’ll leave injured, depressed and without any national team titles as has been the case since she took over

If anyone missed it, all three of our class of 2025 recruits signed their NLIs on signing day. I was initially hesitant about this class, but they looked very promising in the past L10 season. I just wanted to give a quick overview of the class!

Elyse showed she's a strong all-arounder this past season. She has a beautiful Yurchenko full (might be able to upgrade to a 1.5) and a very clean bars set (she is training a Delchev). She is the reigning beam national champ and has some great tumbling on the floor. She's been a late bloomer, but I think she could get even more L10 national champs in the future.

The moment Haley committed, I knew we secured the best bar worker in the country (three-time national bar champion). She has the lines, technique, and difficulty to get high scores in the NCAA (she could be bars anchor as a freshman). No surprises there, but I was impressed by her all-around program this past season. Her Yurchenko full is fairly clean (has trained a 1.5). Her beam (2024 national champ) and floor routines improved greatly in the past year. If I had to compare her to current gymnasts, Haley is similar to Georgia's Lily Smith. She injured her knee in September and it required surgery (unsure if ACL). Knee surgery recoveries can be tricky so that it might affect her last L10 season. Fingers crossed for a quick recovery before she starts her freshman season here because she will have a large impact on the team.

Nina is going to be a star on floor. She has huge tumbling, engaging dance, and boundless personality. Just based on her interviews and social media, her demeanor reminds me so much of Sierra Ballard. She has usable Yurchenko 1.5 (hopefully she can stick more landings this season). Her bar routine is very nice with a double layout dismount comparable to Kiya Johnson’s. I would say beam is her weakest event, but I think she just needs to find more consistency for the upcoming season.

A mutual friend of Haley and I went live on TikTok about a month ago and in the comments section, Haley confirmed that her recovery would take anywhere from 6-9 months. Given that information and the timeline for her recovery, I would assume it’s an ACL injury and she’ll be out for the entire level 10 season this year

For the board. Do we have any idea on the percentages of our gymnasts that have surgeries before they show up? 50% 25% seems like a lot!

2018- Ferrer came to LSU banged up

2019- Kai Rivers had shoulder surgery prior and Alyona had a minor procedure

2020-Arenas had a small procedure, Dunne had a small thing during the fall too I believe

2021- KJ and Tatum had clean up surgery prior to LSU from previous injuries

2022- Beard had surgery prior to LSU due to injury and Cowan I believe had a procedure on either her elbow/shoulder

2023- Coen and Konnor had surgery the year prior to LSU

2024- Zoe Miller out now due to shoulder problem

So quite a bit tbh, lot a bit more than average. And its a shame we never got to see the full potential of kids due to the nagging injuries. Kai Rivers especially the most recent one who was a killer AA prior to LSU. Priessman at LSU could have been much so more than a bars specialist but elite took a toll on her body

Coen was one of THE best L10 recruits in her class so I am hoping they can get her back to where she was before

You can 100% bet there are gonna be some 'unofficial' school tours at LSU with all those elites up the road just 45 min from Campus
