-Jo Cryer one of the best seeing the "nasty" in the tape. Tigers stayed in touch and you're on our board.

-Shea watching the tape comp'd him to Will Blackwell. One of the most physical in the class. High side like Ory Williams



-Still working on tryin go after Blake Ivy and even Elyjah Thurmon was brought to camp and even made the Bayou Splash and offered him.

-Basketball film for Thurmon is great and one to monitor.

-JD LaFleur the legacy following in his Dad's footsteps. Been on the radar super early.

-He was the best TE that came in and camped this summer

-Denbrock really loves him was offered in June and a month and a half later boom.

-Great replacement for Mason Taylor when he departs. He's 255 and hasn't started his Jr year in HS yet.

-Believe he will be the only 2025 TE for the class.

-Time to start knocking down dominoes for the LA 2025 class.

Bayou Splash notes

-Tigers have set themselves in position to land multiple commitments because of the Bayou Splash

-Swimming at the rec, photo shoots, playing games at football ops. This wasn't a sit down two hour film room or watching practice.

-This was about hanging out with your family and the atmosphere that BK is selling.

-2024 kids at this point know everything that LSU has of offer. Kids know the vibe at LSU.

-Under 50 recruits there but double last years attendance. Emphasis on 2024 but dipping into the 2025 class.



-Found out mid-week. Mom, Dad, Sister and GF attended weekend of his parents anniversary. He is now a 5* + on all boards.

-Remember during the camp they ended in Tiger Stadium earlier this summer. Return visit wasn't expected. Will visit LSU this fall. Thought to be and LSU/Michigan battle.

-He lives 30 minutes from Michigan. He's been there 11 times. He has now made 3 visits to LSU in four months.

-Can't say he will end up at LSU but this is the biggest first for a HS QB since Russell Sheppard.

-He did end up visiting Michigan on Sunday with his Dad.

-January decision date and kudos to Joe Sloan.



-Alright The Big Man was in town. LSU and Texas battle with Texas leading the charge after their June visit. Tigers come back getting him Thursday-Sunday.

-You saw all the photos, the hashtags, the Callin Baton Rouge video. He leaves after a 4 day stay while being very active on social media.

-You have former LSU players and current players tweeting.

-You have Texas insiders saying Texas still feels good. Both are feeling good.

-We found out that he is announcing his commitment day today.

-Billy says it's too close to call right now. But when a commitment date is given the decision is normally right behind it and he knows where he's going.

-Even if you have to hold onto him till December Billy believes it will be shut down. Tired of the recruiting process after 3 years.

-Both teams feel really good about where they stand and have reasons to feel that way. Genuine experiences with both staffs.



-Mom ran track at OU and were considered the team to beat up until the summer. Kinda like Simmons when Durham visited OU this summer we thought he would pop. LSU then counters and gets him to come that following weekend unofficially and save his official for the fall.

-Last two visits for Caden were both to LSU and you got him to the Splash. Frank Wilson prioritized Caden and it's "Caden or bust".

-Tigers buckled down and has Shea believing that Frank Wilson had the Tigers in better position.

-RPM picks are coming in for LSU. OU does has #1 RB Taylor Tatum committed.

-Shocked if he doesn't pick LSU says Billy.

-Billy says that Caden has started taking his calls more regularly like Sunday morning and told him how great the visit was.





-Little brother in attendance as well who received an offer.

-You had to get him for the splash. LSU trying to lock up the top 10 in LA.

-Pushing his official out to the fall. Visited every other team in the running but LSU.

-Multiple staffs felt really good about LSU running far behind.

-Frank Wilson and staff had their best discussions with him about why LSU and their plan for him.

-He's fresh to recruiting and didn't blow up after his junior year. LSU now has had him on campus 3 times which is more than any other school.

-Think about Tylen Singleton and how he just popped and could this be the same thing? Even though there hasn't been much buzz around LSU before?

-Billy says watch, Texas, Texas A&M, OU but LSU getting him on campus and being close to Acadiana. Best for LSU if he takes it into the fall.

-Shea says everything he heard was that this visit was just what was needed

-Linebacker room has gotten interesting since the addition of Tylen.



-We all know Xaiver Atkins is gone so circle LSU turning up the heat right now on Devin Smith. He came in for the Bayou Splash and Matt House likes where LSU stands.

-Tigers not wasting any time with Atkins looking around. Devin Smith top 5 all are SEC names. Just picked up a USC offer.

-More people see his film more offers will come.

-BK wants 30 HS signees and start taking less transfers

-Future for BK he wants to build the roster through HS and patch holes with the portal.

-Wardell Mack not making it in but went to Florida. Watching his timeline for commitment but LSU trying to long game push with him





-Biggest note for 2025 from the Splash was a loaded group. Very clear LA angle was Harlem Berry and James Simon both being there.

-Both spent a lot of time together and with Frank Wilson

-Whether you got Caden Durham or not you have to find a way to get both of those two in 2025. Shea feels really good about Harlem Berry to LSU. James Simon not as much. His Dad now coaching at Grambling.

-Billy thinks it will be tougher to land Simon but thinks it happens in the end.











-Tigers got filthy bringing in some very elite WR's from Texas and Florida.

-Someone will emerge from LA as a 2025 can't miss WR but there it is another Duncanville prospect
