I could write something up and throw out a link but.... suffice it to say LSU is firmly implanted nationally in the minds of promising athletes looking to make their mark in the college game - in just about any sport for that matter. Of course, I'm leaning towards the football side of things.
National champs in golf, nice run in tennis, Final 4 in softball, and now baseball is in super regionals! Nice time to be a Tiger fan as well....

LSU is fine on the academic prowess and a very respected university.

Take your crap comments somewhere else.

Why would any LSU fan make this comment on a recruiting board?

Did you grown up on a farm? Brand is quite universal. Do you wear name brand clothes? What brand of cereal are you eating? LSU has a brand. It's the tradition, the pageantry, the sports, etc.

You dont have to have an actual branding iron to have a popular brand that people want and admire. SMH

LSU having a popular brand in football is no accident and takes alot of hard work and tremendous leadership. Miles is one tough SOB and is getting better every year. I will take the over on 8 wins for 2015, but thats just me.

College football is the #2 sport in America...that is the only major brand that LSU needs and it has been sputtering lately.

Brand actually plays a really powerful role in recruiting.

Agreed! If we can get better than average QB play this season the Tigers could be special on the gridiron..... It's a big "IF" based on past performances. Good news is we have the best dual-QB in the country coming into Tiger town soon..... I really hope Harris gets to show what he can do with more than 1 start. It's time..... LOL

This is regular shite for us. We didn't get our "most NCs in the SEC " tag overnight...

Learn vocabulary. Cows are branded, they aren't brands...
