Bell Cow of class similar to Watford in that regard.
Would love to get him.

Updated class of 2020, also I think Cameron Thomas signs this period

Is Cook the answer at point guard for the future, or do we need someone like Jalen Terry?

Honestly, not sure. He’ll be thrown into the fire early though if Smart declares next summer.

We signed Ezewiro. How are we updating things?

Kept hoping we would see something break on Thomas or Wilkinson by today, since Wade said earlier in the week that there would likely be a couple of surprises before the end of the week. While I realize there is still some time left, it appears it is just not going to happen till next week.

We have to be due for a sharp shooting SG soon. Darrell Mitchell and Marcus Thornton have to be the best we have had in the past 15 years, but during a different game era. Everyone can shoot above average now, taking away shots from the true shooters, and i also see less zone.

Antonio Blakeney said to tell you hello SLUtiger5.
Blakeney was the #3 ranked shooting guard in the country and #13 overall commit. He averaged 17 PPG his soph. year before turning pro. Blakeney was a great player. Wish we would have had him with Wade at the helm.

Blakeney was a good scorer and had a solid sophomore season, but you would be hard pressed to make an argument that he was a great sharp shooter. He never lived up to his ability and recruiting hype when it came to shooting 3’s in college. He was a 33%/36% shooter in his respective years here. Very avg., at best, numbers when it comes to long range shooting.
I think he would have been poised for a great year his 3rd year had he stayed and played under Wade, especially with having Waters to drive and pass out, setting Blakeney up better for shots. Unfortunately he decided to go pro, which has worked out for him for the most part.

Blakeney became the first player since Marcus Thornton to post six consecutive games of 20 points or more.
Dude had 31 against a star studded roster that Kentucky had.
21 vs. Arkansas.
29 at Ole Miss.
28 at Bama.
29 vs. Auburn.
20 at Georgia.
He had 14 games of shooting 50 percent or better from the field his soph year.
Johnny Jones was a bum of a head coach.
Blakeney dominated in the SEC his soph. year.

"We have to sign a big class. We have three signed and we have to sign another three or four before it's all done. We have some work ahead of us and we need to add some big guys. We need to add a wing that can help us replace what Marlon (Taylor) brings us. We need to add another ball handler, but we have some good irons in the fire. All those guys certainly know each other and are very close. Any time you get a high-level player like Cameron (Thomas), (Jalen) Cook and Bradley (Ezewiro), other guys want to play with those guys.
The above is an update from Will Wade from 11/18/19. This is after the Cameron Thomas, Bradley Ezewiro and Jalen Cook signings. The fact that we will have only 4 scholarships (1 open now and 3 seniors) indicates that Wade expects some current players leaving (going pro, transfers and/or attrition).

Removed Josh Hall after his commitment to NC State. I think if the staff isn't able to land Jalen Terry they go the Juco/Grad transfer route for a true PG as Javonte is more of a CG than a true point.

Terry looks like he’s UL bound.

Just talked to my sauce, expected to have about 6 scholarships for this class and don't expect Deshawn Thomas to play or stick around past this year at this rate

What's the deal with Thomas?
Posted on 11/20/19 at 4:08 pm to cowboy4ever
Just an extra big body for this season.
Posted on 11/20/19 at 4:46 pm to cowboy4ever
Thomas has not been medically cleared to play. No details are further known to me. I have not seen him on the sidelines for any of the home games.
