Updated to reflect Efton's commitment, with CWW saying they are pretty much done with this class I will update 2022 in the coming weeks, I updated the projected roster and class rankings. Number 7 class in the country and it does NOT include your 2nd best commitment or any transfers, pretty damn good job by The General.

I'm only counting 13 on the roster. I thought you could have 15, or am I confusing that with NBA rules?

Men's CBB allows only 13 scholarships each year. A team can have additional walk ons. I'm not sure if there is a walk on limit.
Women's CBB allows 15 scholarships each year.
With the extra year of eligibility allowed for Covid, there may be some leeway for the non counting of seniors who want to stay for an extra year in the scholarship limits. Some have suggested this, but I have not researched it. This will not affect the LSU men, but some have suggested it could benefit the LSU women. The women have around three seniors who may decide to stay on for an additional year. They said they would while Fargas was still coach, but I have not seen confirmation since Mulkey was announced.

If there is a top 100 player in Virginia you can bet LSU is involved in the recruitment. Unfortunately, LA is not pumping out a ton top talent right now. VA has become a huge target for Wade and his staff. Lots of ties there. Both Cam Thomas and Elton Reid were top VA players. Murray is from Baltimore not too far up the road.

There's Donald Hand, a 6-5 pg that plays at Landstown HS in Virginia Beach (where I live) that Wade is recruiting pretty hard from what I've heard.

As many on this board know, the DC area is a hot bed of high school basketball talent. Nickelberry has a lot of experience and contacts in this area as well as the east coast in general.

Really want Derrick Lively another true C him being 7'1

Wade obviously has a lot of contacts from his many years at VCU as both HC and an assistant. But it is no small coincidence that LSU is landing 5 star VA talent in back to back seasons at the same time Nickleberry has joined the staff. Just like with Heair was here Florida was very much in play (Williams and Days).
While LSU recruits from all over, the primary grounds are Louisiana (obviously); Mississippi, Alabama, Georgia (Armstrong) and Virginia/DC metro (Nickleberr)

No it didnt sour. He left on good terms. He went to coach with his buddy at ETSU. No hard feelings at all.

Hyatt played 2 years at the Miller School in Charlottesville before LSU. Will was recruiting him for VCU when he was here.
