Based on what is being said by Mr. Embody over at 247, we have a great shot to land a few high profile kids still to close out this class (better than I even thought). Highly recommend going for 247 just for that if you want some good basketball nuggets, he's great at providing insight there.
We can dream, but this could be potentially the roster next year:
1. SR. SG Charles Manning
2. JR. CG Javonte Smart
3. JR. PF Darius Days
4. JR. PF Josh LeBlanc [Eligible for conference play right now next year, waiver being applied for sooner]
5. SO. PF Shareef O'Neal [They think a waiver will work here]
6. SO. SF Trendon Watford
7. FR. SG Cameron Thomas (5-star)
8. FR. PG Jalen Cook (3-star, but underrated)
9. FR. SF Mwani Wilkinson (4-star) Top 100 overall
10. FR. C Bradley Ezewiro (3-star)

UAA play from last year Click stats
Jalen was a beast on Louisiana Elite, going for 17ppg on 55% from the floor and 44% from 3 (shot 5 a game). Also only had 9 turnovers total in 14 games or 341 minutes played, that's only 1 turnover every 24 minutes or so. He didn't get a ton of assists, a little over 3 a game, but he took care of the ball exceptionally well. Now they dont play the best defense in AAU ball, but still a good thing to see.
Wish I had stats on Jalen this high school season, but I do know every time I check up on his games he seems to drop about 30 points most nights and hit 3-5 3's in the process.

These arent my thoughts. Just what the coaches are seriously going after to close out the 2020 class. They arent going to turn down any of Gaines, Anselem, Cisse or Kuminga if they want in. If we were to get 2/4 or 3/4 of them, numbers will just have to get worked out.

I think Bishop and Hyatt will still be on the roster next year. Also, i don't think we get both Anselem and Cisse. I think Watford goes pro at the end of the day.

I think it's more likely that players unexpectedly go pro than players like Bishop or Hyatt get cut.

Don’t be, hes only leaving if he’s a 1st round lock which he might be by the draft but as of now he’s not and what other guys could go pro? Not Smart and Not Days

Players that should not enter the draft do it every year.

It's not just him saying, his family said it from the start. They dont expect him to leave early unless he's a 1st rounder. Now surely they may not stick to that, but that was the plan.
The plan for Naz Reid on the other hand was always to leave after 1 season regardless of draft position. So it's 2 very different approaches.

What players in the recent years have reclassified? I'm sure there are some i just can't think of any off the top of my head. I feel like there are always a few guys that plan to reclassify and it never actually happens.

Alot of those players don't have parents who have already raised a college athlete and are in a comfortable situation financially. Right now I'd put it at 50/50 for Watford. If someone gives him a first round wink, he'll go. If there is uncertainty, he will return.

More and more every year now. In the 2021 class it honestly seems like 10 top guys are on their way to doing it. Hard to check back since they just change them to the previous year without really detonating it in rankings so hard to quantify it totally.
