Rankings are from 247 Composite, links and prospect info are from 247. The projected roster can obviously be very fluid with how college basketball is now.
Projected 2022 - 2023 Lineup (Class DOES NOT include extra COVID year, Any player that was in college in the 2020-2021 season will have an extra year of eligibility). Will update this with additions and losses hopefully daily:
Point Guard
Justice Hill (JR) *Transfer from Murray State
Trae Hannibal (SR) *Transfer from Murray State
Shooting Guard
Wing
Power Forward
Kendal Coleman (JR)*Transfer from Northwestern State
Center
Corneilous Williams (FR)
2022
High School Commits
Corneilous Williams
Transfers
Kendal Coleman
Justice Hill *Murray State Website, his 247 profile is from JUCO
Trae Hannibal

What about Reece Beckman?
Posted on 5/6/19 at 6:29 pm to Bjorn Cyborg
Neither side showing most interest to each other according to 247, I will add him though.

He's definitely a take if we miss our priority targets considering he is a highly rated local kid

Have heard good things about our chances with Greg Brown
Think we will end with:
Dante
Cryer
Cook
Peavy

Very good chance Wade can turn us into a recruiting powerhouse.

LSU was/is in on several big time Texas kids, but it's my understanding Tony Benford was the lead recruiter there (just like Armstrong is most responsible for Watford and Heir is the Florida connection). With Benford no longer on staff does that change the calculus?
Presumably he was brought on to help recruit Texas. That didn't bear any fruit in years 1, 2 and 3, but it looked he was starting to with the 4th recruiting class
Does LSU bring on another assistant with TX ties? Or, is Brian Merrit the Texas tie?

I'm not really sure on what they are doing to replace Benford, but I believe LSU is still the team to beat for Cryer and Peavy. Also have a good chance at Greg Brown.

Merritt is definitely a TX tie with all of his connections to AAU and John Lucas over there. Now whether that gets used in his current capacity or in the form of a promotion to fill Benford's spot, remains to be seen.

Jabari Smith Jr. should be added for 2021

What Bjorn said. That is apparently Tasmin's responsibility.

Maybe more depends on if Wade fills out the roster this year and who does or doesn't leave early after next season. I haven't thought of Watford as a one-and-done but he might be. You think he's a one-and-done?

Mighty just be too hopeful but I think we can get those 4 and Greg Brown
