That's like betting a certain team won't win the NCAA tournament. It's always safe to bet someone won't accomplish something, because the odds are much better.

i still think it'd be cool if we got a graduate transfer. 6'9 240-ish guy who can rebound and score close to the rim. open scholarship the following season.

No, because most of our wings are really just shooting guards. A player like Coleman is more of a true small forward.

hey bubba have you heard anything new on Nate Guy,I saw an article earlier where he said he was trying to get a visit set up for LSU. A class of Morgan ,Pelle and Guy would be off the charts

I'm guessing thats the other player he was referring to. If he lands Pelle, Morgan (got'em), and Coleman, he deserves another year. Thats a helluva class. And that class could still include Hammink.

Norvel Pelle is at a California post-graduate prep school. Perhaps that was confused with a junior college. Shavon Coleman is likely the other player.
The problem with this statement is that signing day is not until mid-April. The decision on whether to keep Johnson will be made well before then.

Yeah, he could just be posturing for his job. I'm not expecting to get the kid, but if we keep him and he gets Pelle, I'll be fine with the decision.
