Very athletic and can jump out of the gym, and as mentioned a very good stroke!!
Sampson, but better I think once WW has him a while.

. I bet this guy sees the floor a lot.
He'll be starting at the 3. Lets Mays spell Waters and Smart at the 1 and 2 to keep 2 fresh PGs out there at all times.
My god Will Wade is my fricking hero.

I don’t know about competition, but 80% from the line translates at any level. Must mean he has a good stroke.
Panola is in one of the better JUCO Conferences/Regions. His Freshman year, Panola made it to Hutchinson and advanced to the JUCO Sweet 16. Competition is very good.

The real question is why this kid didn't have more big time offers.
- 6'6" - Perfect size for a SG
- Huge vertical/Great athlete
- 44% from 3-pt
- 80% from FT line
- Averaged 16/10 in a competitive JUCO league
Seems like he should be getting major attention.

JuCos are just not heavily recruited in the basketball world. Most major colleges want top-tier freshmen or four-year guys

He's extremely raw and his head coach at Panola has said as much a few times, which is why I doubt he starts here his first year. He only started playing basketball his junior year of high school. He needs developing, which is probably why a lot of bigger schools havent offered. Typically when teams go to JUCO they need immediate contributors, not guys that maybe need a year still developing from understand the game point of view.
His shot and athleticism are by far his biggest assets, but I wouldn't expect crazy numbers from him in year 1.
Wade has said many times most JUCO kids improve a lot from their junior to senior years in D1. I think he may start Edwards because of that (At the 3 spot) and work Taylor in. I think with rotating Edwards/Taylor at the 3 it gives him another shooter on the floor at all times to go along with shooters in Mays, Waters and Smart (not to mention all 3 big guys coming in can shoot from range). Rachal can get worked in as well when we need more of a defensive presence and energy level.
