There is no reason for 250 kids in Louisiana in one class to be ranked.

That is a lot of Louisiana kids

I have noticed our best teams have a mixture of LA kids and national kids particularly from Florida, California, or Texas

Went to the coaches committee meeting tonight. Not a lot mention that we don't already know but I will share a few.

I talked to Mason Braun a bit. He said he hasn't played 1B for a couple of years, which surprised me. He said he doesn't care where Jay puts him, 1B or OF he just wants to play. Confident and likeable player. Well built with some muscle. It will be fun to see how he hits.

Seth Dardar is grinning ear to ear just excited to be playing for LSU. He says he is living a dream. Has been playing 2B.

Serna and Paz are in shape and seemed to be serious minded.

Simpson and Moore were also in attendance.

Jay mentioned NIL kind of being an issue and something that we need to work on.

Jay also mentioned that he brought Dardar, Simpson and Carraway here for their offense but might have underated their defense.

Schedule will be out Thursday.

He struggled this past season at Barbe, dropping all the way to ninth in a lineup that didn't hit the ball very well. But he did have a good summer on the tournament circuit against even better competition than he saw during his high school season.

alot of it has to do with...do you attend a lot of PBR or PG events. Jordin mainly only plays PG and is ranked in #6 nationally and killed in the summer. His struggles in HS ball have more to do with all the pressure he is under due to everyone hating on him all the damn time and when in travel he can get away from his hometown and all the people putting the pressure on him. Will be the same in college where he can get away from that. This is just my opinion based on his results at the school and in travel

but as far as the rankings...littleton doesnt really play much PG and he isnt even in top 50 in the class in their rankings

as far as the rankings of 250 kids across the state...that is about how many will go play college ball of some sort. Its a lot and at some point...are you sure someone at 184 is worse than the 159 ranked kid?

He was sitting with Yeskie, John Pearson, and Gavin Guidry last night.
He should pop soon I would imagine. One of the coaches said they went 5/5 last weekend, and last night should be the same.
