Nothing signifies a shift in recruiting priorities more than portal kids getting Flemings with the head coach and high school guys slumming it for tacos with the assistants.

I feel like you could close the deal with anyone if Izzos is still around. I haven’t been to Baton Rouge in years but I know the one is Lake Charles was closed last time I visited.
Really not sure how a recruit could say no to LSU after a trip to Izzos!

Don't sleep on Sheerin as far as highest upside. He's got some Baby Skenes to him.
Rizy looks a lot like Shores did on the mound coming out of high school, but he doesn't have the same velo right now.

Yep. We'll see if he carries that over to Baton Rouge. He will almost definitely carry all of the other things over. I mean, he basically paints his face black sometimes, sunglasses, arm sleeve, arm guard, shin guard, sliding pad in the back pocket, earrings, necklaces, bracelets, et al.
I don't care what the hell he wears if he produces. I'm not a get off my lawn guy for kids that back it up.

I just really liked the K/BB ration in the IP Rizy was able to get in the Futures league. Gave me good vibes for his future at LSU. I think training him as a midweek starter can greatly benefit 2026 team.

Dickinson really wants to be here and carry on the winning tradition, too. It's not just a selfish way for him to bolster or solidify his draft stock. He's going to work hard to make sure he doesn't let himself or the team or the former players or the fans down, which generally lends itself to leadership.
