He has so much potential and it kills me that it won't be fully realized at LSU.

Cant say I'm surprised with Cam Johnson, Brady Neal or Aiden Moffett, although Moffett is very light work seems like thus far, how many appearances in those 5.0IP? If it's like 4-5 then pretty light load there. Would be more impressed if that was over like 2 appearances.

Cam just still cant throw strikes and Neal still isnt hitting good pitching.

Eric Rataczak to Tenn

We followed him before Rooney left to go to USCe, but did not appear we had or he had significant interest in LSU.

His mom is still following like 20 different sites related to LSU, and nothing of substance related to Texas other than Schloss. Hopefully we can see this one through. I do wish we had the last visit as someone else mentioned, though.

I think he makes it.

Teams don’t seem to love HS Carchers

2 first rounders last year but both signed under value a kid from PR in the thirty and then nothing till like the 15th round.

2 Years ago there was no HS Catchers in the first 3 rounds. and only 2 in the first 13.

2021 had 4 in the first 4 rounds including a 1st and a CB-A rounder.

skipped 2020 because it was a weird year

2019 had 3 in the first 10 rounds and none before the 6th. the 6th rounder was a top 100 MLB Ranked player who went 192.

This is a lot of info about catchers in response to a post about an infielder that's signed with San Diego State.

Good pick up for them.

He was 0-1 with a walk against Deven Sheerin this season.

This post is less about his results against Sheerin and more about building on a previous post I made regarding the quality of competition Sheerin faced. There are a lot of matchups against guys that will be in the SEC and ACC next season.

And him being an infielder makes it even less likely they’ll draft him as a catcher.

Wes Mendes, LHP from Ole Miss is in the portal. Would not surprise me if we take a look

6.82 ERA, 31.2 IP, 33H, 19BB, 43K, 1.642 WHIP

We are not connected that I can tell yet.

Austin is a cesspool of weirdo’s. I work there a lot unfortunately. If he chooses Texas over LSU then more power to him I suppose. That stadium is a shite box. And the fans are equally miserable.
