I don't understand Bronzini. I understand everyone else who entered the portal. Bronzini is as good as the LHPs we're on and LSU offers as much opportunity as he's gonna be guaranteed anywhere.

This year he threw in 6 games. He gave up nothing in 2 and 2/3 against Stony Brook, Rice, Xavier, North Dakota State, and Grambling. He then threw against Mississippi State where he gave up 4 H, 2 BB, and 3 ER in 2 innings. I don't know how much of him entering the transfer portal was his decision.

I agree with PP7 from above here, Bronzini pitched 4 2/3 innings over 2 years here. It was time for him to probably move on. Doesnt mean he cant figure it out but it was a pretty rough 2 years on him here and we just cant wait around for everyone to be productive by maybe year 3.
There's frankly just someone else in the portal we can get at that point.
Primeaux might be in a similar sounding boat over 2 years here, but he's currently in the Cape and pitching well to start (4.1 IP, 6 K, 3 H, 1 BB, 0 ER), being a local kid too I think helps there in terms of him sticking around. I think the staff sees the potential there of him being a matchup lefty over the long run.

Based off what some posted going into the spring, I was surprised he wasn’t showing up higher on some list. Seems like some draft sites don’t really know about him, then some or really high on him. Hopefully he sucks in this summer league
