Looks like he played a decent number of games in the OF his freshman year but that could have been more just where Dayton needed him at the time. Obviously C and 1B (probably) are bigger needs for us.

Hopefully he lights it up but figuring out which guys are going to adjust to sec pitching is a crapshoot.

I'll bet Bingham had better stats coming over from a pac12 school.
Bingham had similar numbers but was also a 23 year old 5th year senior.

K/BB ratio is bad so that may be a concern. The rest of his numbers look great.

This Eddie Yamin kid is a big baw 6-5. Bear Jones is 6-4. Beef this kid up and let’s see if Jay can turn this kid into a 20+ HR kind of guy.

Didn’t we get an OF from Stetson or something as well?

Kyle Jones is the CF from Stetson, but he has not declared anywhere yet.

We have some flexibility now at some positions. Big questions are 3b,ss if braswell goes. And of course catcher. If Yarmin is catching in the cape maybe he platoons with 1 of the new guys, if they make it, And either dh or of on other days if he is hitting.
Does monster go to ss if brasswell is gone. Does Pearson get a look at 2b again.

Pitching is getting close. Root would be great. Herring staying would be great. Can Noot or Shores get healthy. I think they can take some flyers on some bullpen guys.

According to Hunt Palmer, Yamin is being brought in as a "hitter" per his source when asked what position.

Sounds right

Hard to field a good team with a “by default” catcher.

Or SS for that matter.

The path they are currently on

Milam is your SS if Braswell goes
2B will be competition between Mikey Ryan if he gets through draft and Kucerak will get a look along with Tanner Reaves who could play multiple positions as well
