We are on Kolby Branch. Infield from Baylor who hit .346 as a freshman 6 HR 41 RBI. 1:1 K to BB ratio and only 8 errors starting 55 games (I think most at SS).

Somebody asked him on Twitter about LSU pitching coach and he retweeted it basically saying “It will come out after the CWS” which leads me to believe someone is locked up already. Makes me wonder if it’s Corey Muscara.

Ok gotcha. Yea you have to assume it’s done as Jay mentioned Wes had been done for 5 days before it came out so he’s been working on it but it interesting to hear that Kendall said that like it’s certain.

Also fwiw all of David Herring's (Wichita State INF that Jay and Josh are on) Twitter likes recently are Oral Roberts related. I don't see an official commit anywhere, but he's either silently committed there or really likes ORU.

Re Woods: He pitched decent against Nicholls in their regional striking out 3 in 1.2 innings. Gave up a solo homer to Wes Toups. He was up to 96 with the fastball and has a pretty sharp looking slider. He didn't fare nearly as well against Wake giving up 2 HR in 0.2 innings. Watching those innings he looks to have good stuff, just needs to locate better.
