guess landon fell in that one too cause he was #10. either way if you get 2 or 3 of our top recruits on campus from that class its going to be fricking awesome.
i would love to get Derek, konnor and landon all on campus for sure. I hope we get kade too but less picky about catcher as i think we are set up well there for sure.
hopefully Nil and the shitty minor league lifestyle plays a big part.

New JUCO arm on the radar: Zach Garber at Orange Coast College in Southern California. Hasn't pitched in a game yet as he's still coming back from TJ. He's a lefty in the low 90s. He's currently a redshirt freshman after throwing 1 inning last year when I assume his arm issue manifested.

Another JUCO arm on the radar: Slaide Natureman, a sophomore at Gulf Coast State. He went to college as a catcher and spent his freshman year at Kennesaw St where he converted to pitcher. He transferred to a JUCO loaded with pitching prospects for this year. He only threw 8 innings for KSU last year.

Haven’t found anything yet
ETA: Ulloa pitched an inning today. So I guess he’s not injured, may have been dinged up.

Big Dylan Thompson of Sam Houston had him a day yesterday. had some great plays in the field and had a monster HR against Catholic, also pitched well and ran the fastball up to 90.
LINK
the amount of talent in that scrimmage was insane.

He looks big already. Going to be nice to reload that infield next year with Thompson, Roellig, Kucherak, Milam, and Lape.

I feel like every one of them has at least some chance to stick at shortstop too. I think they could all play three IF spots. Lape and Thompson could also play 1st probably since they're a little more big bodied. I'm really excited about the infield class.

Agreed. I kinda figured Lape would fit nice at 3B. Milam gives me Robert Moore vibes, probably a second baseman at least long term.

New JUCO arm to monitor: Carson Latimer from Cloud County JC in Kansas. He's a RHP from British Columbia, not to be confused with the hockey prospect also from British Columbia with the exact same name and similar enough look to be confusing. They're about a year apart in age though.
Latimer has only thrown 1 inning so far this season, but he's 88-93. Not sure if he's being pursued for this offseason or next as he is a JUCO freshman.

I wish it was Lattimer from The Program.

We've added like 6 or 7 JUCO arms to the radar in the last week or so. I'm wondering if it's a case of just trying to get the best available players or if they're planning for more departures than originally thought.

My guess is they're just being safe. We have no idea how Noot, Appleby, and Taylor will be after injury. Coleman is still somewhat unknown from injury. I don't know what to think about Bollman. Kade Anderson is coming off of an injury. Cam Johnson is a draft risk.
They have to be safe, or else end up way too thin on the mound again.
