Most are in off season right now and won't play anything until late Sept at earliest.

Hmm. Are they sniffing around the program for recruiting violations?

The lack of any real news is hitting this thread pretty hard.

What was once a team of vikings rowing together towards victory as one....has been reduced to rabid mutts fighting over a chicken bone in the street

Yea, I actually don't even know what's going on in here right now.

Back on baseball: The weekend of September 9th there is a fall JUCO tourney with a bunch of Midwest teams that should will have some decent prospects at it. Jordan has followed a few midwest JUCO guys recently, freshmen and sophomores, position guys and pitchers.
He's been loading up on follows to the point that it's a little difficult to keep up with. There have been a flurry of guys committing to other schools, my guess is we'll see some of that action come our way during football season.
We're also lining up a big visit weekend that weekend for the first home football game combined with a camp for guys in the 24,25, and 26 classes. Should be a pretty electric environment. I would guess that later in the season we will have a visit weekend with all the commits together like they did last year.

Jay Johnson is definitely a workaholic
At his age, will see how long he keeps those hours
He definitely grinds it and probably expects the same of everyone on staff including the support staff
The previous staff did not log the hours this staff does
but that doesn't mean you can't get what you need done in the amount of time you have since you are limited with what you can do with the players in a given week anyway

new PBR 2023 updated rankings
Brown is legit as hell. Going to be an impact player for us imo.

When healthy, I actually like Kade Anderson as much or more.
Also interested to see what O'Brien does. He's twitchy. I actually thought he was a '22 grad. I think Jay is on him.
