If Jay can get him on campus for a visit I like our chances. Did they say if it’s only his agent that wants him out of the SEC or does he want that too?

If he does decide to come, we will need some of the guys on the team to have learned from SKenes, Crews, Trav, Dugas, Beloso, etc. on being great leaders and great teammates. I think if Burns can get around the right group of guys at LSU then it will be an awesome get. If he seems like he is extremely selfish and not willing to be a great teammate then we can find someone else.

Games begin on Tuesday. They will have 2 games on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday. Off Friday. Then play 2 on Saturday, Sunday, and Monday. The 2 games on Monday will be the 3rd place game and the Championship game. All these games will be streamed on MLB.com and I think I read that the opening 2 games will be live on MLB Newtwork.
Just a reminder for anyone interested in watching that the games start today. Both games today will be on MLB Network. This is players from the recruiting class of 2024.

Putting this here to monitor as well in case it gets buried in project’s thread on the rant.
I can’t imagine he won’t come next season with the turnover we’re going to have but we’ll see.

Hung out with a former SEC West baseball player (mid 2000s) before game 1 in Destin. Called LSU America’s team. Said a ton players on current rosters want to play here. He thought this was going to first of several under JJ. And he was pulling for LSU. Thought that was interesting to hear from a former player from another SECW schools gushing about the program like that.

That's weird, and not normally how JUCO commitments work. I'll keep an eye out on it. I have a hard time thinking he'd be in the Cape League without being on the way here.

I don't really know. I don't have any inside info at LSU. Just read the twitter tea leaves. And fortunately last year I told others what I look at so others here have started doing the same.
