PG All American game just started. Crawford starting in CF and batting lead off, Romero at DH and batting 9th for the West. Kling playing RF and batting cleanup for the East, announcers confirmed he is no longer committed.

Crawford was blown away by three Dylan Lesko fastballs to start the game.

ETA: Not a good start for Crawford as he caught a shallow fly ball from Kling with one out and runners on 2nd and 3rd, thought it was the third out momentarily and allowed the run to score.

No, his PG profile has shown uncommitted for a few weeks but this is the first time I’ve heard anyone mention it officially.

I think they have 10 players in the game.

Crawford swung and missed on 3-0 and 3-1 pitches but drew a walk in a left on left matchup against one of the Vandy commits. He then stole second despite a 1.89 pop from Jones and a perfect throw on the bag.

ETA: Now Crawford steals third, he can absolutely fly.

Makes sense. Pretty sure someone mentioned Kling being a virtual lock to get drafted.

Jones popped up in his AB but did throw out a runner at second.

Neal had a ground ball base hit up the middle a pitch after what should have been a strikeout.

Romero is 0-2 but scored the only West run after reaching on a FC.

Toman grounded out in his first AB. His dad is actually the head coach at Middle Tennessee. Former Tanner assistant at South Carolina.

Snelling is struggling. Neal has shown a good swing

Jones with a base hit for a 1-2 night

Neal with an opposite field ground rule double in the LF corner off of Snelling.

Snelling has lost control with his FB arm side and has been let down by his catcher and defense, but the stuff is there. FB mostly at 92 with a few 93/94, good slurvy looking breaking pitch at 80.

I'd rather have players committed that are planning to attend school, than ones that look good but will never make it. Good job, Coach.

This class will be absolutely special.

Did he say it or was it just said on the broadcast? Because he still has his commitment tweet pinned and Johnson still interacts with him.

It was the announcers and not directly from him, but they implied they had discussed it with him. They also made it sound like the door wasn’t completely shut as they said something like “he’s still getting to know coach Johnson.”

I think the closest he has come to acknowledging it are where he has retweeted some of the PG clips from workouts leading up to the game where they hashtagged him as uncommitted.

Gotcha. Either way, I don't think we're pushing high profile guys out of the class as has been stated by some in this thread.

No it didn’t sound like that at all.

And it was still confusing anyway. When he came to the plate the graphic said uncommitted but the announcer initially called him an LSU commit. Then after a pitch or two he said “I have to correct myself, he is now uncommitted following the coaching change at LSU, yada yada, he says he is still getting to know coach Johnson.”

Then they took it a step further to say there’s some top tier talent uncommitted, referring to Kling and Tremarr Johnson.

They're getting close to naming the 18U national team that will play a bunch of games against Canada. I'm pretty sure we will have some guys on Team USA. We will also have a couple targets on Team Canada. Micah Bucknam and Turner Spoljaric will pitch for Canada and both are guys we're after.

He was also mentioned in an article on LSU's site earlier today. After all the speculation that guys in the incoming class would be cut loose, it doesn't appear that any actually were.

ETA: If he's number six, I'm wondering if that means that the number 8 tradition is still ongoing and that Dugas will be wearing it.
