Seems like a pretty big sign that he will be in the portal soon. Interestingly, D1baseball ranks their top 100 starting pitchers. Waldrep is #27, Tanner Hall of Southern Miss is #9.

Is following players on twitter considered “contact”? I know that schools aren’t allowed to make contact until they are officially in the portal. Could be that he notified the school at the end of the week but they haven’t officially reported it yet.
