Project do you believe they get Paxton Kling back I’m the fold

I disagree that he’s uncommitted in the first place.

Recruiting rankings are less important now
Transfer rankings will lessen recruits you lose to draft
It's one reason you see Johnson fixing the 22 class that had some high profile guys that will likely never make it to campus

I’m really looking forward to us using the transfer portal in a proactive manner. All too often we saw Mainieri scrounging for scraps after signing day.

If anyone is interested in player development and JUCO baseball, this Twitter thread is a good quick read: Link
It’s College of Central Florida coach Marty Smith talking about how they’ve changed the focus of what they do in the last five years and the success he’s seen on that. CCF is where Nate Pearson went and prior to him was not a big prospect producer.

I didn’t see any other names mentioned. There is a kid from Denham Springs that moved to Texas that was committed to Oklahoma State. Jaxson Burch, a 2023 pitcher. I feel like we’re close to getting a commitment from him.

Former commit Gavin Chillot committed to Pitt yesterday.

John Pearson, Jacob and Josh’s baby brother, just committed to LSU.

Was just coming to post that. Hopefully we get a couple of his 2024 west Monroe teammates.
ETA: I will add him tomorrow

What’s funny about a kid staying close to home to play for a team that’s on the rise?
Posted on 9/14/21 at 9:42 pm to ProjectP2294
Notice I said baby and not little. He’s the biggest Pearson by far.

We just picked up another 2024. Danny Arambula, an infielder from California.

It just made me chuckle. I’m happy he’s gonna get to stay close to home.
I love what Coach Johnson has done to upgrade the roster thus far and his recruiting has been great. He’s doing a really nice job.
