Anybody around here close to the West Monroe program? I’m OOS so I don’t know much but following the PBR accounts etc but is Hayden Federico pretty locked in with Rebs? Did the old staff push for him? Looks like a nice player.

Both staffs recruited him, but he's originally from Mississippi. His dad was previously a player and coach at Southern Miss before getting the ULM gig.

I think a pitcher. He was a catcher as a FR. I think he played some 1B. He's like 6'6", so there is going to be some question about his ability to stick behind the plate.

At Air Force, his max workload was throw 100 pitches, then catch Sat, Sun, and 1-2 midweek games. I'd day his general usage was to throw 100 on Friday, then split between catcher and DH the rest of the time. He rarely sat completely out. Very impressive.

There is definitely talent there. I think he was done a massive disservice by Vandy encouraging him to enroll early.

UCLA freshman pitcher Thatcher Hurd entered the portal. I haven't seen an explicit connection to him yet, but he's from California.

Was just about to say this. He was having an awesome season until he got hurt. #36 overall player in last years class
