I used him as an example because he’s playing for a small school and doesn’t have much written about him from a National level. Doesn’t even have a grade or write up on PG. having a bunch of other college commits on his team doesn’t change that. Pro scouts and national writers aren’t flocking to Rosepine
no i get that but in general he was pretty well known as a junior once he started going to showcases etc.

Paxton Kling is scheduled to play for the Danville Dans this summer. Connor Simon is no longer listed on their roster.
Michael Fowler is scheduled for the north woods league

Degado site
For those in NOLA looking to watch some baseball and see some potential Tigers, Delgado is hosting Crowder (Misiorowski) and Eastern Oklahoma (Ackenhausen) this weekend to see who goes to the NJCAA D1 World Series.

I haven't been to Kirsch-Rooney since Coach Rags was there

I assume Ackenhausen starts against Misiorowski in game 1, which is at noon on Friday. Correct? Or, do you see them going another direction with the format? Maybe both throw against Delgado.

Ackenhausen’s starts late in the year haven’t really been on a predictable schedule. They are each their teams respective ace, so you’d hope they’d face each other. But I can see them each throwing against Delgado with the plan to figure it out against each other later.
ETA: Ackenhausen last threw on 5/12, Misiorowski on 5/13. I would say they're both on pace to throw Friday. Ideally it's against each other.

Tulane, Butler, FIU, and San Francisco are all making coaching changes if anyone is interested in roster shopping for the transfer portal.

I wouldn't mind Keaschall.
Carmouche at Tulane may be worth looking at for another LH arm.

You get a chance to get a kid like Keaschall to campus you take it. Kids an animal

Add Western Kentucky to the list. Austin Peay as well.
The portal is slowly starting to pick up a little bit. Hopefully D1Baseball starts updating theirs soon.

what's the story on him? Looks like he can hit but he's got 15 errors as well. JT has 17.

He’s does kick it around I saw. I just remembered he had a good bat

He's a far better fielder than Thompson's shown. He hasn't been great this year but he was better last year and both years have been better than Thompson. I think he's a slightly better overall hitter, too.
I think we're going to need an infielder from the portal.

He has some highlight reel defensive plays on twitter. He's played 3rd and Short. He recently helped put out a fire at his neighbor's house, and with Vietmeier running out of eligibility, we need that.
ETA: And he's a big base stealer

I'm not sure we have a steal signal, P

Now that the semester is over, and the group they take to Nashville will probably be the same they take to Birmingham, I wonder if we start seeing some roster movement.
ETA: Priester's follow list on twitter has been expanding the last couple days with a bunch of JUCO coaches and recruiting coordinators. Could be nothing, but this is normally a tell.

Agreed. I don't believe they're coming home from Nashville at all, going straight to Hoover.

Well if nothing else he will give competition in the infield and if he doesn't win at any position will be good depth. Would welcome him in with open arms if he would want to join the team for sure.

I'm not saying he would be promised a starting spot to come here, but he won't come here if he's not going to be starting. He's entering his money year and is a known prospect. He's not going somewhere to sit the bench.
