He did confirm Noot, Young, and Neal are all on campus and thinks they’re in a strong position for it to stay that way. He also said Coleman will be careful with his plan to return and Hurd is progressing really nicely and throwing + moving weight in the weight room.

Coach Jay feels good about Jaden Noot, Brady Neal, Carter Young. All have been around the building, working out, getting academics in order.

Mentioned having already spoken to some freshman about the possibility of redshirting. I think that bucket would be Jones, Frey, Ruddell, Mic Paul, and maybe an arm or 2.

And mentioned some injuries that may shorten the roster. Coleman and Siravo obviously. Mixed stories on Simon. Appleby has also had some arm issues.

Doesn't expect any issue getting to 35+5.

Hunt is like a kid in a candy store. I think we all are with the direction of the program under Jay

I did find it interesting that he said he though a team on day 1 would take Shores or Noot and give them upwards of 2 mil. Which tells me that Noot has a pretty darn high number and my guess is it isn’t anywhere near 500-800k or even a million because surely someone between days 1 and 3 offered him that already. Makes me feel a lot better about it.

You consistently have the worst takes on top of complete lack of knowledge in football and baseball. Make like a magician and disappear. Stop posting.

I don't think you red-shirt a bat like his, especially when he can challenge to be a back-up catcher alongside Neal in that battle or maybe even start from time to time if you just want that bat in the lineup. Not to mention, he'll be a draft eligible sophomore.

While Milazzo is solid behind the plate, Travinski didn't do a whole lot from either the box or behind the plate.

The fact you can red-shirt someone like Frey though speaks volumes to this roster

Yea, there is no chance Jones is in that group. I get he’s raw, but no way you would be able to talk him into that before the season.

A lot will play itself out this fall. Will see who will end up on the list of injured Johnson talked about, and also will see who it looks like will be options for redshirt. I'm thinking if they have to redshirt, it will likely only need to be 2 players. Depending on some of these injury/hanging up the cleats/maybe a Beloso not being here rumors.

Though Beloso seemed pretty pumped and enthused to be returning a few weeks ago when he was on Mahtook's show.

Kendall Rogers said on twitter it would be a surprise if Skenes ends up anywhere outside of LSU, Arkansas, State, or Vandy.

State board also thinks it's more LSU/State battle than Arkansas. I tend to have the same gut feeling. I also gotta think a decision comes in the next few days.

Good chance State misses a regional again next year. I think it’s LSU and Arkansas. A&M running 3rd.

haha idk about that. They should not be near as down next year, that would very much surprise me.

I haven't seen anything with Skenes and A&M. That's interesting.

Probably pained Kendall to send out a tweet regarding one of the top transfers and had to mention four SEC schools not named A&M

Well they were literally the worst team in the league this year, and I haven't been blown away by anything they've done in the portal, and their freshman class doesn't exactly look amazing, though I'm sure it's solid. I don't see a quick bounce back coming from them. And that's kind of been the trend with that program. They swing pretty massively from really good to really bad, a lot. Not sure why they have such a hard time with consistency, since they like to tell us that THEY changed baseball in the SEC, and not LSU.
