I feel you on this, some of the frickin slugs on this website are unbearable. I followed baseball recruiting this year more than any past season that I can recall, thanks to the handful of guys that brought the solid info this cycle!

Thanks as always, Nap!
Sure hope we can reel in Skenes.

I’m told Skenes will be on campus this weekend.
So we don't get the last visit after all? I know Arkansas was the first weekend, but I thought he was visiting somewhere else as well

nobody knows or has confirmed his exact visit schedule. He was at Arkansas early this week. Other than that it's been pure speculation. Second to last visit or last visit, I think the visit is what matters at this point for sure.

I was just looking at the UDFA list on D1 Baseball. Tennessee lost a couple guys from their recruiting class. A portal catcher from Austin Peay and a JUCO infielder from Arizona.
That will help their numbers, but they have a hole to fill at catcher and I think they're losing their entire starting infield to the draft/graduation. They also lost their left fielder who could have either slid over to CF or into the INF. Their line up will look a lot different next season.

Less a-hole-ish......or nah?

Drew Gilbert was the emotional engine of that team since his freshman year. He actually got very high make up scores from scouts. He's a good locker room guy and an effort guy.
His loss will be felt beyond just the playing field. I know people don't like his antics. That's understandable, even my wife the Tennessee alum would get annoyed with it. But he was the straw that stirred the drink for them.

What position do you see Blake Burke settling in?

Fair enough. The drink that was Tennessee baseball is littered with flakes of human excrement

1B.
Their infield will probably be Burke, Moore, Ahuna, Denton.
In the OF, Christian Scott will probably start somewhere, maybe CF. Kyle Booker, Logan Chambers, Jared Dickey, and a couple freshmen will compete for the other spots.
Dickey will also catch, along with Charlie Taylor.
Colby Backus, big JUCO power bat is a wildcard. Could play a corner OF or DH.
Overall it will be a lot of new faces, or relatively new faces, but they're still going to mash. They have another JUCO infielder coming in from Polk St that will probably back up all 4 spots and get some time at DH. They have Adrian Siravo's catcher from JUCO coming in as well.

I've seen where Noot is back at campus? I take that as a good sign or he is here to back up his stuff.
Hopefully, they roll out the red carpet for Skenes. Might need to invite Gordon to the dinner.

Don’t overthink this. Johnson would have kicked his punk arse out if he was leaving.

if we can get him and brown on campus along with JC Vanek....quite a few big lefties to bring it.

Don’t forget Kade Anderson, might be the best of the bunch.
