I wonder if LSU has ever had a team with so many highly rated draft eligible players that instead chose to come back (or enroll) for the Tigers? I know we've had plenty but not sure about this many in 1 season. Right now all these guys are still with us (still nervous about Hill and Cabell and will continue to be thru a few rounds tomorrow)
Zach Watson #65 (MLB.com)
Jaden Hill #78
Zack Hess #91
Elijah Cabell #101
Landon Marceaux #117
Cole Henry #137

I also wonder if maybe Coach PM actually did overachieve this season.

Good problem to have, but PM is going to have to make some difficult decisions on who Herschel processed and how to make scholarship $ work.
And I think PMnis allergic to LHP.

Yea, 2 lefties on the roster. The decisions on who to process and who pitches what role next year is a good one to have. We didn’t have the same level of talent we were used to last year, this year should be different. I just hope we hang on to all the freshman pitchers. They all had promise

Marceaux and Henry have both sent out tweets that they will be at LSU next season.

I wish Cabell would go ahead and announce that hes coming

I'm just hoping he sticks to his commitment. LSU has had a few players similar in Jesmuel Valentin Diaz (2012) and Nonie Williams (2016) who ended up looking elsewhere as the draft approached and made it known they would sign or play JUCO. Elijah is not doing that as far as I can tell but it would be nice to see what he's feeling.

You leave that bad juju outta here

Diaz was a 1st rounder and Williams was a 3rd rounder how is their situation comparable to Cabell who is undrafted through 10 rounds?

Cabell goes to a baseball academy that takes classes online. He’s pretty much homeschooled so he could focus on baseball. Typically those guys don’t make it to school. The fact that he’s undrafted after 10 rounds is still really good. Let’s just hope we don’t get Mac Marshall’d once he realizes he has to play school too

Out of state kids (with a similar skill set to Cabell) who made it known privately that they would sign or go JUCO.
Cabell out of all the other signees is the most signable in my opinion, I hope he sticks to his playing college ball for 3 years.
Exactly this

I’ve looked all over to confirm he even signed with us and I can’t find anything. The closest thing I can find is his social media bio saying “LSU ‘22”. I know CPM denied Nonie Williams was ever a signee, but that was after the draft. Guess we will find out in a couple weeks

Unless they staged a ceremony complete with family members and everyone in LSU gear, he signed.

Cam Sanders 12rd 368 just went to Cubs

Hunter Feduccia 12rd 374 to Dodgers

Where did you see that? Like I said, I’ve never seen anything confirming it, usually players post pics of the ceremony

Cabell went in the 14th. I think that's going to be the only one we'll have to hold our breath on

Anybody heard anything on Levi Kelly? If we can land all four (Kelly, Hill, Henry, and Marceaux) our pitching staff will be set for next three years. All four are power ace type players. Would resemble a Flordia type of pitching rotation. I'm hoping we can all of them on campus.

Kelly is supposedly likely to sign. Henry & Marceaux are said to be coming to LSU.
Still not sure on Jaden Hill, but it's looking pretty good for LSU at the moment.
