Perfect Game had an interesting review on Daniel Cabrera.
They rated him a Perfect 10.
But also had this line ..."fields the ball cleanly out front, left field arm strength,
makes soft accurate throws."
Would not that mean he plays left field instead of right?
That's likely a MLB projection. You dont have to have a cannon in college, but Cabrera is definitely better than Duplantis when it comes to throwing from the outfield, so you leave Duplantis out in left.
Watson can uncork one, wouldn't surprise me if he has the strongest OF arm of the 3, but the way he can run down balls in CF you keep him there.

That's everyone I'm aware from the position player side. We should see more current players pop up in their leagues as soon as this weekend.

I was wondering why he hadn't played lately. I'm pretty sure he hit a walk-off grand slam in one of their games, so at least he has a good summer highlight.
ETA: Blair Frederick is pitching in the Cal Summer League. He's striking out a ton of guys and not walking many. He had a rough first outing but has been steadily bringing his ERA and WHIP down since that. Something like 14 Ks in 8.2 innings or something.

Maybe Storz, or Labas, or Veitmeier, or Schroer.

Mainieri being quoted as saying that there are 11 new pitchers coming in this fall. I believe I've only got 10 listed. That means that either we've got another commit that I haven't been able to find yet or Cabrera is potentially going to pitch some.

P, pitcher number 11 is Brandon Nowak, a 6-4, 180-pound transfer from Oakton College in Illinois.

I just added him. I haven't done a twitter search in a few days, but apparently he committed 4 days ago.
Another curious thing is that Nolan Cain isn't tweeting out the box bound picture lately.
I'm going to wait on adding Gragg to the list right now.

Don't add Gragg yet. My guy can't confirm whether he's for 2019 or if the whole thing is a mistake.
BTW - Nowak's with Rockford in the Northwoods League, which is the team Feduccia and Moffitt are on.

Thanks, I was about to look that up.

Nowak was with the Miami Hurricanes a few years ago

Anyone know who the 3rd catcher is that CPM mentioned to Luke Johnson? Said he could not name him because he is not enrolled yet.

Never mind

Probably Braden Doughty who recently committed as a preferred walk on. But since he didn't sign an loi, if he's not in summer school, the coach can't mention him because he's still a psa and not a student.

LSU just picked up another commitment, per Nolan Cain's twitter. Will search to find out who.
