Mathieu was not highly ranked out of high school. 3star IIRC.

Internet recruiting sites like Rivals only started around the 2000’s.
While there were Blue chip magazines (Max Emfinger, Tom Whathisname, Landry’s southeast recruiting, etc) & Parade All-American lists, the grading system wasn’t there to go back “all-time”.
