Yeah he committed prior to the trip to Spain. There was never any confirmation that he had enrolled. Someone asked about him and mentioned classes had begun. I was passing the word that he is on the team roster.

Tolu Smith transferred to Mississippi State. He was the last recruit in play for 2019.
This thread needs to be unstickied and the 2020 thread stickied.

This was the main gist of the article; not much beyond it. He had LSU pretty much at top of his list coming in and the visit did nothing to change that. He enjoyed being around the coaches and players and even played some pick up games. He may return for an unofficial later in season and plans to be an early signee; so should have a decision by November.
Thanks for the synopsis. I read where Ezewiro wants to have a decision by mid October. He’s visiting USC this weekend.

A little on 2020 Basketball recruiting. LSU are actively recruiting the following:
Micah Peavy- 6-7 small forward out of Huston, Texas Duncanville, High. LSU is battling Texas Tech Michigan and Texas for his services. Peavy has already taken an official visit to LSU and will take an official visit to Texas Tech this weekend.
Josh Hall- 6-9 SF out of Hickory, NC attending Moravian Prep. Louisville, is looked as the current leader however, he is expected to make an official visit to LSU.
Marial Mading- 6’11 juco forward originally from Sudan but grew up in Australia. Madling originally signed with Rhode Island and is classified as a redshirt freshman and is currently attending Chipola (Florida) Junior College. LSU, Kansas, and Florida have offered thus far.

This quote looks really promising:
What sticks out about LSU?
"LSU is one of the schools in the country where the football is good, the basketball is good, they’re good at every single sport. Nebraska is good but LSU is just different and I’m a Shaq fan so I really like that."
Man, we need to have Shaq close the deal for us.

LSU is actively recruiting Tyon Grant-Foster, a 6-foot-7, 190-pound sophomore guard from Indian Hills Community College in Ottumwa, Iowa. Grant-Foster, who averaged 8.2 points and 4.2 rebounds a game his freshman season, hit 37.5% of his shots, including 27.9% from three (24 of 86). LSU has offered a scholarship along with KU, Kansas State, Missouri, Wichita State, Georgia, Iowa State, Miami, Oklahoma State, Oregon, SMU, Texas A&M, Virginia Tech among others.

LSU lost out on Tyon Grant-Foster, a 6-foot-7, 190-pound sophomore guard from Indian Hills Community College in Ottumwa, whom committed to Kansas last week nonetheless, the Tigers will host Jalen Terry a 5-10 PG whom recently decommitted from Michigan State. Terry is from Mount Morris, MI. LSU along with Louisville and Iowa State are know to be the leaders. Terry is scheduled to visit LSU on October 25th. Terry's style will remind you of a young Allen Iverson. Please view link below.
