Will wade and Tony Benford are making a home visit tonight with top 50 PF CJ Walker from Orlando, Fl. CJ is currently schedule to visit LSU in October.

Dont think we're recruiting him, his name never pops up in recruiting updates on 247. They really want James Bishop at guard.

Our in-state class for 2019 must not be that good this year

One of the worst in many years. We really aren't recruiting anyone in the state at this point - and it's not like we have a bunch of 5 stars or top players lined up like we did last year. We're definitely taking a handful of 4-year developmental guys.

You’re in for a surprise then. CJ Walker and Omar Payne definetly aren’t 4 year guys.

I'm not saying all the 2019 guys will be 4-year, just a handful of them. I expect if we take 5 players 3 of them will be more 4-year types...maybe including a JUCO though who obviously isn't a 4-year guy.

Right now I’d say we’re the favorites to land Walker, Payne, Bishop, and JUCO wing Quenton Jackson. Also there might be a very big surprise down the line after or during the spring signing period, so that’s something to keep an eye on. So really only 1 4 year guy. It really doesn’t matter, this class is going to be pretty great, probably in the 10-15 range.

So Payne isn’t considered the “mystery big man”? There is another highly rated Big we are in the race for besides him? That would make for a hell of a class

Great pick up. I surmise that C.J. Walker from Orlando, Florida will be next. From all indications Emmitt Williams has been recruiting him big time and will be his host on his visit in October.

Watford, Walker and Payne is my dream finish to the class. I’m not sure if that’s realistic, or even if the staff would take 3 forwards but that’s a lot of talent
