Lyle Fitt will be a good player for tech was really impressed with him when my team played them in the playoffs this year.
ULM/tech/Tulane/ULL should recruit Ridge Turner I would like to see what he could do in 1A instead of 1AA.

I worked with Ellis this past season. If he hits the weighttraining/conditioning hard, he could get better quickly.

good for Tech. Hope they keep takin in good recruits so that USL-Lafayette keeps fielding a team as good as West Monroe and Acadiana High.

Nobody expects Tech to get the same 4 and 5 star recruits like LSU. LSU is recruiting nationally these days. Some of Techs recruits are the best in the state. They are on the way to becoming the number 2 team in the state.

I really think that every school in the state could be competitive in their conference year in and year out if the high school coaches in the state made a more concerted effort to get their kids to qualify. Granted everyone would still probably have to get most of their O-linemen from out of state, there is no shortage of talented players, just a shortage of talented players who qualify.

Well Tech is the only other team to win a bowl game this year and recruiting class is better then anyone outside of LSU/ with Tulane being right there. I guess techincally they would be #2 heading into 09. However one year doesnt make a program, we will see if they can do it over the long haul.
