Louisiana Prospects This Year

It looks like this is shaping up to be an outstanding class. But I'm surprised at how few of our commitments are from Louisiana. Is this this a down year in Louisiana for recruiting?
Please don't pile on with snarky comments. I'm not in the weeds on recruiting like a know many posters on this site are.

It’s a relative down year, but the bigger issue is that there is lots talent but in redundant positions. We can’t take 7 receivers, for example.
Also this class is shaping up to be the deepest class in LSU history. The number of top 150 players we are expecting to land is unprecedented, so except for a class like Hill/Rasco/La’El/A. Johnson/Hilliard, there will be less LA players than before

Louisiana has 9 top 300 recruits which is about average for a normal year only problem is 5 of 9 are WR

Our national recruiting footprint is significantly increasing due to O's efforts.
Currently, we have commitments from players in the following states:
Louisiana (3)
Texas (3)
Florida (2)
Georgia (2)
California (1)
Maryland (1)
Michigan (1)
Mississippi (1)
Ohio (1)
Virginia (1)

Louisiana should always be number 1 and it probably will be this year
We should end with 5 or 6 players

Only 7 of the last 35 recruits from 20’-21’ are from in-state
Last year they had the least amount of in state signees in history.
This years class might come pretty close to that.

Actually 8 of 36, I didn’t realize Todd was on scholarship

9 of the Top 300 being a TRUE AVERAGE is a load of BS
It’s TRUTH is closer to 15-18 Top 300 per year (depending on the year)
Why the phuck does this ckskr Saban try to camp out here — Oeaux put an end to that schitt
I’ve watched these Recruiting Services low rate LA athletes for decades now. These lazy ckskrs evaluating athletes camp out in the Big Three (TX, CA, FLA)
Per Capita, Louisiana had the best athletes for the past two decades
They did an article on hotbeds of talent —
The years LSU wasted on that grass chewing cocksukker Les Miles when we could have had several natties — Now I gotta live to fkn age 90 to enjoy a few more titles

So which state takes the crown? Louisiana. No wonder LSU seems to reload its talent so reliably as long as the program is run by an even arguably competent coach.
Over the period of study Louisiana produced Division I-FBS recruits at almost two and a half times the national average. It ranked first in both average per capita rake and in median per capita rate

All of this.
Plus, LSU’s talent standards continue to be set higher and higher.
And by talent, I mean the combo of skill + character. Not many programs in the country are in the position to have the luxury of bypassing really skilled players because they know they can go out and land another player just as skilled but with better character.
Coach O is building a machine. Almost identical to Clemson IMO.

Ree, back from the dead. The Recruiting Board is too normal for two emotionally unstable toddlers to find in a row.
That said, I personally like corksoakers, love em really, given they are women and friendly towards me.
Les Miles is the past. I appreciate what he did here, but the game passed him by.
The only thing that seems to be redeemable with you is your disgust with Saban.

Katrina sent a lot of talent to other states since 2005.

In his declining years Miles would sign the 5 WR and then could not bring in top line of scrimmage talent. Or QBs. So we had lots of points in the rivals and 24/7 recruiting index’s. But a below standard roster.

Redeemable with me?
EABODs, as the kids say — I’m not Willy or Tiger Ree (whatever the phuck a Ree is) or any any mofo that’s been run outta here! I’m 85, on this forum for the first time. I’m not here for your judgment—Yeah I hate Saban and all cheats that play paid Mercs and get away with it Year after year since ‘60. I’m here to get the most out of my golden years and share a few laughs and just a tiny bit of FB expertise, esp at QB, that I picked up over the past seven decades.
