I wouldn't have taken him unless we missed on one of Chase/Joseph/Surtain/Goodrich
I'd probably take Foster over him too, but it seems we've either cooled on Foster, or he's cooled on us.

It's not like he has any source backing up that statement. Things like this happen in recruiting. It sucks. If you really want to go to a school, there's always a limited window. Can't wait around forever and expect nothing to change.

He knew he had a time limit. He slow played us the whole year. When the time came to sign, he didn’t... and lost his spot. There was communication, we did not simply stop talking to him without previously communicating there was a time limit and limited number of spots.

It sorta makes more sense that they wouldn’t tell a kid that.
How are you going to pitch to you RB how important and great you think they are while still telling them, but if you don’t sign in the early signing period you’re done.
Plus we didn’t know about Terrance Marshall and there still may be room in this class.
Really I know we need RBs but if we want to take a big haul in 19 you can’t sign 3 the class before.

Those guys fill a position of need. If we had our DB needs filled and needed a RB the roles would probably be reversed.

this new early signing period changes things. the end game is much more uncertain and a kid takes his chances by not going early.
LSU's needs changed; we need DB's, WR's and that's what we're going to sign. picking up a stud RB next year is literally easier than most, if not all, other positions.

O been telling him to commit But no he was holding out what Alabama auburn offer and like O said we want kids that wants to be tigers
