Thank you for explaining this. Son’s school played them last year in Junior High and they had: 60 players, cheerleaders, dance team, a band, and homecoming court. Of the above, all we had were cheerleaders and they only attended a couple of home games.

Calvin has always been a year back in school. I don't know his age but I know he was not recently held back so if he is older he started late or was held back early in school. He is just really talented

I only know about a few 2028 in detail
1) Calvin Ursin, ATH Live Oak
2) Armani Davis, ATH Westgate (transferred from St. Martinville)
3) Trey McDaniel, DB Calvary Baptist
4) Hayden Monroe, TE/WR Carencro
5) Caiden Bellard, RB Lafayette Christian
6) Thomas Carter, RB Loreauville
I'm just throwing stuff at the wall here with a few local guys. The Westgate guys are all highly touted: RB/DB Caemon Crockem, TE Chance Archangel, QB Noah Antoine, DB Cayden Lancelin, WR Shadon Lee
The Calvary Baptist RB, Delancey Street....there is a rap song by Dana Dane by that name :

I’ll be at all the Live Oak games this year to watch the sister dance. Will gladly bump this post to update on Ursin. There’s always been buzz around town about him, but seeing him on the field is something. I truly believe he’ll be a top 100 prospect nationally.

That’s a little much for 4 8-minute quarters lol
If I were them I’d have two junior high teams, like some schools have a JV blue and a JV black…

Who is Ursins dad? That sounds like a Vacherie/ Reserve/ Edgard last name to me. His dad play at St James or West St John?
