Scott can ball. He may be the next case like Dak and people will defend LSU's recruitment of him. Once we know more about Haskins, we will know more about Russo and Scott.

No, Russell Shepard does not come to mind. Scott is a very accurate passer, has a fairly strong arm, and has QB intelligence. He is not just an "athlete" playing the QB position.

LOL, how much bigger are players in general today than 40 years ago? Jesus why don't you guys donate some money and pay Scott's way if it is that important to you. As I said earlier, I would not mind him getting a spot if we get another qb and we have room. Sorry Rashad, we do not have room for you. Honestly, I just feel LSU has better options at this point, but what do I know.

But he isn't a QB to just be dismissed either. He is talented. If we get Haskins then we don't need another QB in this class, but if we land one of these other project type QB's we might want to hedge our bet by taking two QB's and Scott would be a good one to include (if there is room).

Shepherd was actually a very smart and talented Qb. He knew where to go with the ball and was accurate. He didn't have the arm strength to win that job.

Honestly, if Scott gets an offer from LSU and commits, I will be pulling for him to succeed 100%.

while he doesn't have a Jamarcus Russel arm, Scotts is still plenty strong enough. Also hard to judge accuracy from a highlight tape because they just pick the best plays, like in Shepards case, but you can watch Zacharys entire championship game on TV and tell Scott is very accurate. Plus he hit his receivers on crossing routes across the middle right in stride and with appropriate touch. Didn't drill it like he is trying to throw through a brick wall like Harris and also didn't softly lob in in either.

Shepard highlight film he looked like he was playing football at a playground. You could see the athleticism with him scrambling around and lofting up balls deep to improvising recievers. Or with him weaving his way through defenses. Was very impressive but unlike any other QB. Scott fits a more normal dual threat QB mold, but he is short.

Scott had some great passes in the championship game and fortunately some good hands receiving them. He put the ball on the money against a real good defense that night. He also has the ability to put some air under the ball for fade routes and hole shots. He has trained with Jeff Garcia on this.

During the Jamboree this year Scott came out and tried to wing it like a laser and had a lot of drops. His coaches got that out of him by first real game for a much better result.

His biggest asset is that he is a excellent student of the game. He is already way ahead of most HS QB's and has started for 3 yrs.

Does the camp you are referring to rhyme with Schmanning?

I feel good about 2016 and beyond. Don't ask me why. Who ever we get, I just hope he has this kids Football IQ. I've been told to not be surprised if Scott didn't find his way into coaching

I watched Shep in person a few times and most of his rushing yardage came on designed runs or read options. I didn't feel like it was playground ball at all. I also saw him audible into some nice plays. He seemed to know what was going on.

I agree that Scott is a legit Qb prospect unlike Shep. I think Scott will be a kid that gets a chance to really prove himself somewhere. He will probably be a case like Dak where people on here wonder what happened in his recruitment in years to come.

He has been to several camps and worked out with Garcia on his own. His dad knows Jeff Garcia from the CFL. Also he was the QB for the Louisiana Bootleggers in the summer 7 on 7 circuit and he took them to the Nationals. Most of those players are LSU commits. He got a lot of good press from that.

I don't know how true, told today that SEC offer could be coming (not us). This just had the makings of a good (familiar) story
