Damn. That stings a little.

Don’t know if the staff has talked to the Joshua Brown UGA OT commit, but seeing as we’ve had some recruiting success in Fla, send him that same screenshot of the 3 other higher rated OT’s above him, a dvd of last year’s UGA game w/ bonus feature of the new locker rooms & a first class plane ticket to the Aub, UF or A&M game - his choice.

damn he was is a mauler, was hoping we could get lucky. How is UGA selling 4 elite tackles in the same class.

This may help with Van Pran
FWIW, we’re recruiting Van Pran for either center or guard. Shouldn’t affect us at all here.

Kirby knows that this is where you start I’m tje sec.

That is an insane line class. When did Georgia prove they could develop tackles?

Guys can overlook depth when you have deep pockets

Van Pran will be committing to UGA this week per 247

Getting the commitment will be the easy part for UGA.
Holding onto the commitment will be the hard part.

He’s a RT now, but don’t be surprised if he moves to G in college.

We had Isiah Wynn drafted in the first round two years ago and we have two possible first rounders at tackle this year leaving a year early. We also have two guards who might leave early. Pittman has shown he’s a great developer of talent and getting his players to the NFL everywhere he’s been.

Logjams equal transfer portal material or happy benchwarmers. Or this might be their pitch, come here and be a part of nattys, we will showcase you for the league in your third year. Go there for early playing time and you get 3 years to get banged up. See Ed Alexander. It is always follow the money.

I did understand this and OL numbers at LSU are thin so to speak and chances of playing anywhere on OL at LSU are better.
I like the two teammates as they are from Louisiana and getting them on campus helps build relationships.

Yeah, if he wants to play tackle it would help you, but I was really just stating he has always been recruited at C/G for us and it wouldn’t change the way we recruited him.

Van Pran will be a Tiger!
But we need Dumervil in the worse kind of way!

Looked up zone blocking scheme, seems like driving in the snow, you must do the other guys thinking for him. Looked up Pittman at Georgia he prefers man blocking, which is an easy sell for the bigger linemen. No wonder they have the Oline logjam.

Me too. I hated zone blocking, still do. Players must really know each other and work together to make zone blocking work or there will be a lot of missed assignments and defenders getting into the backfield. And one thing that plagued LSU last year was missed assignments.

Lindberg is looking more like a guard than a tackle at this point. Weird recruitment; parents love Texas, and his brother is there too, but never committed and the coaching staff got more comfortable with moving a different direction the longer he took to decide, and as his stock slowly fell.
