I don't know which posters are black, but as a black man reading some of these comments are saddening. To see the amount of joy and jubilation for a person that is nothing more than extremely poor representation of a race is unbelievable. The man stands for everything we try to fight against in order to gain a better perspective in society. We bitch and moan and talk about how the justice system isn't fair and such when Trayvon gets killed, but celebrate when a person that boasters murder is freed on technicalities. Some of you need to wake the frick up. You can't have it both ways. Either you continue to celebrate this life style in which Boosie and his kind promote and deal with the public persecution and the loss of benefit of doubt, or we change and stand for something more. We can stand for decency, standards and a life not corrupted with the promotion of illegal activities, lack of morals and utter irresponsibility. You can't have it both ways. Your choice.

Goodness, you really thought this out didn't you, gump? Lil Boosie is an entertainer and he represents a part of Louisiana's culture, Baton Rouge in particular, whether you like it or not. He was arrested 3 times for possessing small amounts of weed, consumption. If Louisiana legalizes marijuana consumption we wont see these type of senseless arrests and convictions anymore.

Lil Boosie is a fan of LSU that wants to see the best players from the state play at home! In short, we dont give a damn about your opinion frick Boy (Gerald Willis III) Man, cry me a river about that other shite you're spewing gump.

Boosie for AD.

Some of you just blew this thread way out of proportion. You act as if he works at the school in the as one of the Deans or something. Way too sensitive.

Unlike when most of you that were making a bigger deal out this were young in the 60's, 70's, and 80's, times have changed. Doo wop and soul music are not what kids are listening to any more.

Hip hop is one of the most dominant genres of music now and we are fortunate enough to have one hip hop's most popular artist world wide right in BR.

Your kids are listening to him and most of the recruits are listening to him. So, if he convinces them to come represent the #1 school in their home state, what is the problem?

It's not worth arguing with some people. Those are the same people who criticize rap without ever listening to it and downgrade other's opinions. So, let them be.

They honestly can't see past their cliche "rap sucks" statements in an attempt to be internet cool. You can dislike music, in fact I don't much care for hard core yelling rock music, but I don't go around publicizing it for everyone to see. I can appreciate any artistic endeavor, but I don't have to like it.

With that said, Boosie is going to be one of the top entertainers over the next few years because he now has a buzz and street cred people will buy into. It's amazing he's still in baton rouge.

Are you serious? With all that has been stated in this thread, that simple generalization is all you have?

Wow! You are definitely his target audience.

I agree Duckie. And don't get me wrong, there's some things in hip hop that I don't care for either. But most artists are just telling stories of what they've seen without really living that life.

Boosie probably never imagined he would be this popular when he started rapping, especially here in the south. But, now he is. So, he knows he has a platform to reach people, including recruits. That's all he was doing.

He wants the same thing you want, for LSU to be successful in whatever it is they do. He just doesn't articulate it or sound like you.

I don't think people were this upset when Snoop Dogg popped up at CLM's press conference some years back. And murder was the case that they gave him.

So its okay for him to be a thug as long as he can contribute to LSU's football success in some way? That is so fricking sad. But if he were just a round a bout thug that couldn't influence recruits then it frick him, let him rot in jail. Just like I said in a thread I started on the SEC rant, if Trayvon was a 5* commit to LSU most of you would have killed Zimmerman yourselves, mob style.

Take your righteous indignation somewhere else.

Nick Saban just reinstated a guy that was involved in the violent robberies of Alabama students. You should worry about your own program and the thugs you are putting on the football field.

A rapper from Baton Rouge supports LSU, that is really all there is to it. He isn't a player, a coach, or the AD, he is a rapper that is an LSU fan.

For the younger generation. How does idolizing a thug help you in life? As I'm on the beach in the Caribbean drinking a beer I'll think about you laying in the gutter smoking your blunt.

There's a video on youtube that I have favorite where Boosie goes to four different Walmart and a Target, and buys out all the bikes. Third annual Easter Bash and the video was uploaded in 09 so this was probably back in 07 or 08 (can't remember when he went in). Gave away bikes (around 2000), school bags and supplies, free food, thousands of dollars worth of crawfish. Had space walk(s), piñatas, easter eggs (where the golden egg had 5,000) in it, plus other crap.

I'd like to hope your high and mighty arse gives back to the community.

Explain your tree murderer and your fan that killed because Bama lost a game to Auburn! I'll wait...I'll take Boosie's weed smoking arse any day as a fan of LSU....now get off your soapbox cause that shite is about to break under the weight of your hypocrisy!

Shouldn't you be off sending death threats to your own players for the Sugar Bowl loss, or did you get all those done already? Go judge your own fan base first, hypocrite.
