Would you not agree that people are stating their opinions based on the TE depth charts at both schools ? Pretty much across the board, LSU is lacking depth at nearly every position.

ALA TE's - 9 total
SR - 0
JR - 1
SO - 2
FR - 3
commits - 3 , one of which is D. Lewis


LSU - 1 True TE who is average at best
SR - 0
JR - 0
SO- 0
FR - 1* Kole "the shoe" Taylor
commits - Mason Taylor
* Jack Bech is listed as a TE but he is playing out of position

Fact: if Lewis signed with LSU he would see some quality PT this year - 2022.

ALA M.O. - redshirt and develop kids for 2-3 years and they will start seeing PT by year 3-4. I think Lewis will see the field at ALA if he stays for 3+ years. The thing is, next year ALA will likely sign 2-3 4/5* TE's as Lewis could get buried in the depth chart.

I really don’t understand this one. Bama definitely doesn’t need him, but I think this was a flex by Saban.
