Denver and Perkins need to be a priority for the Houston area - both great players.
I am not sure Ausberry has the same level of talent Denver has...

He doesn't, but he's a nice player, he's a legacy, we've got the space and his younger brother is a National Top 50 LB.

Based on what? The 5 Top 100 recruits, 15 Top 250, and 20 4-star recruits he signed?

Verge can't make the decision for them. They've grown up LSU. It's all they've known.

And if this was kids of a coach or Administrator at Bama what would be the expectation? If Verge was at Bama there is no way Saban would have a situation where LSU comes in and takes kids like that. It just looks bad and can be used against you in recruiting.

If these kids think they are too good for LSU then LSU is too good for them and Verge.

The dude isn't a great recruiter and he was a freaking analyst.

You know who else was an analyst? Sarkisian, BoB, and plenty more.

And after reading the post from Getmorewithles regarding his coaching background……come back and say you were wrong, Deuce. C’mon man!

You stupid.

No, but you seem to be. LSU has gone FAR beyond what most schools would have to retain Verge. He’s very lucky to still have a job and no other athletic dept is going to hire him after what came out about him.

In all honesty, he should have already been fired over Title 9. If his family doesn’t show some tangible appreciation for the consideration that’s been shown to them, then he definitely needs to be let go. You don’t get free will after a Get Out of Jail Free Card.
