Perhaps but he had loads of natural talent(sub 4.4 speed, moves, hands out the backfield, blocking).

Porter is tainted until the Lyles stuff is finished. All those guys with ties to him are. Porter has tried to get jobs this year but people are wary of him.

Porter was a terrible rb coach. Whatever money you want to spend on a new coach you should give to Wilson.

Not worth the potential of losing Wilson.
If there are issues between Porter and Wilson and Miles bring Porter back, Wilson will be looking for a spot elsewhere. Not worth it.

I agree Ensminger can be upgraded but it's not likely to happen.
And we don't have to get Porter. We could try to find someone like Lawrence Dawsey from FSU or Adrian Klemm from UCLA to recruit regionally while Wilson concentrates on the in state guys.
