So the only thing i got about this was that you cant share anything on here because someone worked their arse off to find it out first? Thats stupid. Every single thread on here is about something rivals/espn/scout writers have put out before. This is a recruiting board where we can talk about recruting! Who cares where it came from? Well, the most interesting development is covered in the thread title. Nothing else to talk about really. As it stands now, he's going to commit at one of the all star games.
Most people feel like it's an LSU/Bama battle, with LSU having a fractional lead on Bama. Some people who claim to be in the know from his hometown are going to say that he wears houndstooth PJs and has a Nick Saban toothbrush. And Lee Chatelain will also say he's going to Bama, but he doesn't actually know anything, he just likes to stir shite.
It's going to play out like Rasco with everyone sweating it until the end. Hopefully his recruitment will have the same result.

If it were an actual article I would agree with you, but you are making a big deal out of something posted on twitter that easily could've come from a non-media source. Its not like Shea posted his analysis or opinions. He just said x player is at y camp and he posted on twitter. Its not like it is super secret information that he had to think hard about and spent so much effort writing into an article. It was a fricking post on twitter...

it's just common courtesy. you'll notice the more tenured RB posters start threads and in the OP say "per insert source of info here"

Yeah, I left earlier when it was only 2 and I come back and see it has gotten to 6 pages...then I realized that nothing new had happened and it was just more of the same shitstorm that was going on earlier.

If it is how someone makes their living, then yes, you should cite that person if that's where you got the info, even if it was on Twitter. I'll repeat for the third time in this thread that it's on Twitter for that very reason, so that his name gets out there and more people are aware of the service he provides. It's not a difficult concept to grasp. The OP realized and edited because obviously he saw the point, I'm not sure why so many people are still being obstinate.
