Y'all do realize if Jimbo Fisher is not fired we don't have DT Dominick McKinley or DE Gabriel Reliford. If we lose 2 local 5*'s in the same class it's not a bad look for LSU, was a bad look for the Florida teams when Corey Raymond plucked DJ Pickett out of Florida? No, recruiting is a fickled bitch, you win some, you lose some but you keep going, when it's all said and done with or without Brown, BK will have a real nice 2026 recruiting class.

It's much more odd than that. Forget about having nothing to show for the program, the school itself is such a bizarre place with such weird people. I honestly think it attracts players that are maybe more sheltered, shy, or loves cock.

Partly true. Mason was originally from Alexandria, his cousin pitched for LSU, Greg Smith. Mason's Dad got transferred to Texas and he graduated from HS in that state. He went to LSU and was a Petroleum Engineer major and while in school, he became a defacto handler of Derrious Guise. Maybe handler was wrong, but he worked his arse off befriending Guise and helped convince him to go to LSU. As a student who was not officially attached to LSU Football, he also tried with Hootie Jones, Cam Robinson and thankfully Jamal Adams, who along with fellow TD poster went to "make it rain" on Jamal after Jones chose Alabama.
Mason got involved with the On6 hysteria after that northern training center sent Pocic and Garrett here. An entrepreneur in NOLA bought the rights to On6 here and convinced Mason to join him, which he did. All they did is try to do the 7 on 7 thing and they hired a few ex Tigers to give camps. Mason attracted good players, like Guice to attend camps.
Jimmy Smith talked him into leaving the local On6 and taught him scouting, then gave him a role with the Bootleggers, where he did well getting top kids to play for them.
He got hired by LSU, then let go when Coach Ponamsky came in. Went to Mississippi State, where he absolutely loved Joe Moorehead. When Moorehead got let go, he came back to LSU for a short time. Hate that he's at A&M.
Sidenote, he was a poster with insider Knowledge here that got trashed all the time. Tashawn Bower was one that he gave this board info on, but he was committed to Florida.
Look up Memphis23. He got pissed and bombed the site with porn as his final goodbye.
ETA: Jamal Adams was not open to "rain," so that didn't happen.

He was let go before Austin Thomas came back. I want to say 3 seasons ago.
