Agreed. Can’t remember the last time LSU missed out on someone they wanted from the Acadiana area

Yes. You are right. But it’s a stretch to say Jennings “might as well be Lake Charles.” It’s practically the mid-point of two cities.

Jennings is half way from Lake Charles to Lafayette, Baton Rouge to Beaumont. And half way between New Orleans and Houston.

Okay. Got it. I wasn’t aware Southwest Louisiana was so much bigger than Acadiana.

yeah i used to get in arguments with my family about this. they wanted to be part of Lafayette SO bad but it just wasn't reality
