I"ve got the feeling that we have more going on with Lacy than is public. Could be a sign and place.

To his credit he changed some of his "issues" this year. My son was on the team with him and the seniors had a little talk with Mr. Lacy and he responded like you would hope. He appologized for some of his actions and I saw a change in him. It was not very obvious to those who didn't know what was going on, but I was glad to see him respond in a positive way. And whoever said the rape thing was being blown out of proportion is correct. He was in the wrong place at the wrong time. As I have stated before he is a very likeable kid who, I think, would be a good fit at LSU.

Anybody seen Eddie Lacy playing basketball for Dutchtown?
Acreboy, are you from Dutchtown Acres?

its really amazing that someone like lacy who can barely make a 2.0 at dutchtown could breeze through lsu if he were to indeed make it in...tells you how worhtless football player degrees actually are
Variables that can change the outcome:
Maturing from boy to young man.
Structured study hall programs.
Tutors.
Oversight on class attendance.
Realizing that play for $ is a real possibility if you can stay eligible in order to show and develop your skills.
Living away from home and the bad habits developed over time.
Associating with other responsible and committed student athletes.
Icing... a coach who cares if you graduate.

Lacy won't get an offer but it's a damn shame things didn't work out for this kid and LSU
I'm not saying LSU doesn't have legitimate concerns... it's just a shame because this kid is in that upper echelon of RBs from an ability standpoint

Maybe if he was a better student he could have had the oppurtunity to play for LSU. Now he can settle on Bama.

What a piece of crap post. Logic like this has no place here.

He carries himself like Perrilloux did
Agree 100% and know this fist hand. He's a very smart kid, but doesn't apply himself and makes very dumb decisions. Miles doesn't need this.
