this class is a bit of a disappointment, no doubt, combined w/ last two seasons. Only bright spot is Wilson's recruiting of next year's class, but even then LSU is getting out recruited for Rasco. So I see what you're sayin.

Wow, we have basically two five star locks and two more who are top 50 locks committed a fricking year ahead. Still find a way to bich?

it's been an incredible job by Wilson, but there's no excuse for getting out-recruited so badly by an OOS program for a top 5 talent. Wilson can only do so much, someone else needs to carry their weight on this staff recruiting.

go back and look at the qbs who have won titles

Just thought I would go back and look.....

Mediocre COLLEGE QB's?

Chris Weinke - Heisman
Micheal Vick - arguably the most athletically gifted college QB to ever play

Chris Weinke - Heisman
Josh Huepel - Typical Stoops successful QB.

Ken Dorsey - VERY successful college QB
Eric Crouch - System Heisman QB

Craig Krenzel - Successful QB. Better than mediocre
Ken Dorsey - VERY successful college QB

Mauck was better than Jefferson at this point
Jason White - Heisman

Matt Leinart
Jason White

No explanation needed for neither

Vince Young
Matt Leinart

No explanation needed for neither

Leak/Tebow
Troy Smith - Heisman

Flynn
Boeckman - meh

Bradford
Tebow

Both heisman winners

Mcelroy
McCoy

McElroy and Boeckman are about the only two that could be considered a little above mediocre or competent enough to go to a championship game. Look at the list of the other QB's.

But there's still a year till signing day. Last year we hadn't even offered anyone at this point.

I haven't heard any rumblings about him committing at Texas junior day either.

how many starting Olinemen did we lose from last year's team? The line looks a lot worse when they give up a sack after the QB takes too long to make a decision.

that bc weinke and white won the heisman, they were awesome?

get out of here with that shite

just bc you are a successful college qb doesnt make you good, it makes you a product of superior talent around you

I did not concede him anywhere, just pointing out that UT has taken the lead and is running w/ it bc they're recruiting him a lot harder than LSU accd to his coach.

it means they were competent enough to carry a team to a championship.

You HONESTLY believe that Jordan Jefferson and Jarrett Lee is/were competent enough to lead LSU to a championship? Please.

Tell that to Tim Tebow. Trade Tebow off for Jefferson this year and they lose 4 games as well.

Just so we're clear, I'm not taking up for the coaching staff whatsoever.

you're right. My fault. He was the runner up....
